Potential Ban?

A co-worker of mine is not able to get on the Dis today. We all have the same connection company-wide. As you can see, I can get on just fine. When she tries to login with the same credentials she has used for years, she says it gives her a message that she is no longer a member of the Disboards and her account has been banned/deactivated or something like that. I asked her to give me a screenshot, but she is away.

Anyhow, I asked her if she got nasty with somebody and she said no. I asked her if she posted anything against the rules and she said no. I asked her if she blocked/ignored a mod and she said yes, she is sure she did just this past Monday.

Shame shame!!

I am assuming that is why she was banned? Is there a way for her to have her account reinstated or is that a one strike and you are out policy. If it is possible for her to have her account reinstated, who can she contact?

AFAIK, if someone is banned from the boards, they will receive a notice. I'm not absolutely sure about that, since I've not been in that situation.

Not sure someone being banned is allowed to come back. Maybe there's a punishment time frame that she can't be here. Don't know.

Thanks Princess - hopefully a mod will come along and confirm. My guess is she got herself banned for put a moderator on ignore.

I passed the email along.

To be clear, I did not ask for information about another member, hence why I did not provided her member name. I simply provided the circumstance and asked if that was a reason for permanent ban and if not who she can contact.
