that was a rough one, i spent a good 3.5 to 4 hours searching, between last night and this morning, drove from Connecticut to So Jersey today, unloaded the care and started searching again, found it in about 15 minutes. it's what makes this thread intresting.

That's a lot of searching!

It's also one of the reasons I switched to SmugMug. Using SM I can easily organize my photos and use keywords which usually help me find the exact item for POTD Match or at least get close to it with my keywords.

Off topic: PB drove me nuts and I carefully compared the major hosting sites before I switched from PB to SmugMug.

thanks, i've never tried SM, and right now with 70,000 + photos on PB, i'm not ready to switch, even with all the pics on a external hard drive and DVD's. I'm going to take the time to review the new PB to see what's going, i gave it a couple of hours the other day, and didn't care of it, but i'll give it a closer look.

you would think the new PB would be easier...maybe it is...but I was more confused than ever when I was done checking it out
but like you I have way too many on it to want to start somewhere new
