Jack smiled... " Fine then!" He said holding the book over the water.. Miranda ran towards him as she heard a splash in the water.. " Jack!" she yelled as she barreled to the side.. " Love I didn't drop it.." He said looking at the book.. He looked at the book and then back at her.. " What was in the book love?" He said with an odd face. " Nothing." She said bitterly. " Love you always have this book no matter how many times you have read this book you always have it.. what was in the book?" He replied. Miranda kept walking.. " Nothing Jack.." She said softly going below deck.

later that night after miranda put megan and jamey to bed jack was standing in the door way "its later"he said

Miranda smiled meagerly as she shoved passed him and walked to the galley..

he fallowed her "fine ill tell you"she said

Miranda looked at him with tears.. " Jack it was a locket.." She said turning away.. " What locket?" He said crossing his arms.. " It was a locket from someone it isn't a big deal." She said walking towards her shelves of books.. Jack pulled her back towards him. " Who was the locket from and when did you get it?" He asked with curious eyes.. Miranda looked up at him and then turned towards the books.. " It was a locket from my first husband.." She gasped out.. Jack held her arms tighter.. " Miranda how is that even possible?" He said looking at her.. " You were only 16 when we.." He was cut off.. " HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU JACK! TORTUGA IS A HORRIBLE PLACE!" she said as tears streamed down her face.. Jack looked at her harder.. " Love it doesn't add up.. If tortuga was a horrible place and you were forced to marry then why did you keep the locket that symbolizes that?" He said squinting his eyes. Miranda pulled away from his tight grip as she turned out of the room.. " I don't want to talk about it Jack." She said between wimpers.. " Miranda.." He said going after he and struggiling to get her back into the galley.. " Miranda I want to know these things you can tell me these things." He said with sincere eyes.. " Jack It hurts to much." She said unable to keep herself from crying.. " Why did it mean so much to you love?" He asked looking at her with worried eyes. Miranda looked up at him with a stern face.. " fine jack do you really want to know why i kept it?" she said with a more angry tone.. " Yes Love I do." He replied. Miranda breathed in deeply.. " It belonged to my daughter who was taken from me!" She yelled shaking her head not wanting to remember as she pulled away from him and walked swiftly back to their room.

this time jack didnt go after her

Miranda laid in bed as she began to cry herself to sleep....

then jenny walked into the room after she heard what happend "that must of stunk for the little girl i was taken from my mom"jenny said solamly

Jack looked back at her as he stared into the fire.. " Love nows not the time.." He said softly pushing her lightly out of the roomm..

then it hit him jenny coold posabbly be mirandas dautgter

' No thats.. thats impossible..' He said to himself.. ' We saw her father being hung.. If Miranda was her mother then why didn't she see this before?' He asked himself looking around the drafty room.

'shoold i tell miranda?'he thought to himself he disded he wanted to find out for him self first so he started looking though her books

he keept looking though her books until he found a paper it looked like a brith cirticecet the name on it read jane harison jack put it back and walked out on deck too jenny "is jenny your real name?"he asked her "no"she replied "what is your real name?" he asked her "jane"she said plainly

" Why?" she asked looking up from what she was doing..Jack looked at her plainly.. " Oh i dont know.. Jenny just isnt the most common name in the world.. I was just curious.." He stuttered walking from the room.

then jack relised she still knew some thing she didnt the locket wasnt the first thing he was trying to get her to tell him

But he decided that possibley it wasn't all that important and he wouldn't strive her for more information..

the next moarning when they where walking above deck jack looked at her and said "i think jenny might be your daugter"he said miranda looked at him like he was crazy

Miranda laughed.. " Mmm yes Jack thanks for making me feel better." she said rolling her eyes.
