Your creepy clown is creepin me out! good job! he he! no but seriously ever since john wayne gacy and "it", clowns do have a major tendency to make me feel somewhat un at ease.
I second that!! I was at PriceBusters the other day, and in their Halloween section were these 3 foot scary clowns. I was spooked but my kids thought it was funny! (They never watched It, but I read the book---eeeeee!)
I called on the 29th for BB, and again I asked about BB for dinner. I got a 2 pm dessert seating on the 29th hopefully waterside, and 31 dinner i think 7, or 7:30. will have to look on my dining plan sheet. They said nothing about closed and i brought it up. Will ask again when i call n the morning.

I just got off the phone with Park Guest Services (714-781-7290) and she said, "Yes, it is going under refurbishment, but they don't have a date yet." They will know closer to the end of September. She even called the lead right at POTC to confirm.
I was just on the phone with Disney Dining making my PS for Carnation Cafe and asked the CM about this. He first said that BB will not close even if the ride does close for refurb. So that could be why everyone is getting PS. He also said that if the Disneyland website currently shows it not as a refurb, then that is the most accurate information.

That tells us a lot of nothing I am not directing that at you, Sherlee--I thank you so much for pursuing this! But c'mon, Disney folk! Well, yeah...I think we know it's going under refurb, but...this fall? This winter? In October? In January? How annoying that they can't just be straightforward about it.
Geez, how weird that everyone is getting different answers from Disney. I think if we were going then, I'd just expect it to be down, and just be surprised and thrilled if it's not!
Its just really not fair to not give accurate information in advance. This is really starting to bother me. Don't they care anything at all that families scrimp and save, and wait months, years, LIFETIMES to take a trip to Disneyland? Things like this could make or break the whole experience for them. It's just so unprofessional to treat their guests this way, for the amount of money and time that people put into these trips, you think DL could put the same effort into keeping them informed of events, refurbs, etc. So disappointing.
yeah whats really weird is the last couple of times they were closed for refurb, BB was shut down as well...so who knows...Im just going to do what JenDisneylandlver said and let whatever happens happen because getting upset will not change anything....
Just thought I would bump this up and see if anyone has heard anything new.
I am guessing I will just have to wait and see if it is closed when we get there.
Kind of a bummer if they pulled it from the schudule because they didn't like getting complaints before it closed knowing full well when they plan on closing it.
I know I was very upset to learn it was going to be down for refurb. and ex tactic when taken off the list. I don't think they will close it until after the 20th because of expected large crowds for UEA. I'm praying anyway 1 month 1 week and two day till DL Trip
