POTC Ride?

Soon, I will be taking my cousin to WDW and I wanted her to experience POTC, but I recently know it was changed. Is their any extreme part of the ride I may want to know about?

BTW: She is 8

It's not that different. There is a great beginning sequence that is slightly spooky, but the illusion is done on water so it's more cool than anything else. If she liked it before, she'll be fine now.

They just "plussed" it, Disney's term for adding more theming. They added some cool effects like Jack Sparrow. If your niece has seen the movie, she'll love it.

Thanks for your help everyone. She has been on it before and loved it, I just wanted to make sure that their weren't any additional drops.

The new opening illusion is a great addition to the attraction. Otherwise, little has changed except that Jack is seen hiding on two occasions and at the farewell vignette. It just got better!
