POTC Ride

I'm going to Disney next year and i was wondering how big the drop was now on the POTC ride because i've heard that its got bigger?

hardly lol!!! its like exactly the same as the previous POTC ride, seriously I wouldn't get too excited!! It's not as good as everyone's making it out to be!!

OMG! its freaking huge! bigger than splash mountain! they dont even give you seat belts and you have to hold on for dear life or else youll go flying off!


no, im joking. its not big. its very little. have you been on the Norway ride in Epcot? if so, the POTC drop is smaller than the Norway drop!

well it's hardly a drop, u don't get wet and u think it's gonna be a big one but it's not very big at all

if your in the front row you do get a little wet

The drop in the ride wasn't changed, it's exactly the same size. It's really small, enough to give you that tickly feeling in your stomach. You're definetly not going to get wet (a mist maybe, if even that) and you don't need to hold on (unless you want to). Don't worry about it, it's not like splash mountain or anything..

Last time i went on it i didnt even feel the drop! so theres nothing to be worried about!lol

seriously, the drop is about 0.5 out of ten on my thrill scale, so there's nothing to worry about.

If I had to estimate it, I would say 20 ft at the most, hardly gaining anymore then 8mph....

Lol.

It's very, very, very tiny. I hardly call it a drop at all after Splash. It's a 'bump' really.

So don't worry!
