POTC Open on Sept 30 question

We are suppose to go home on Sept 30 but we saw that the POTC is opening back up on the 30th. We are thinking about updating for one more day since that is one of our favorite rides. This way we can stay until 2pm and then head home. How good is Disneyland about opening on the day they say they will?
