Uh hate to sound stupid here; but I have done the download to my computer; but when it says click on the game icon to install - well I am clueless - what freakin game icon?

If you haven't found it yet, do a search on your computer for potc. Or re-download it and save to your desktop.

It took a long time for it to finally load on my computer.


I was finally able to get to Port Royal without the game crashing on me.
Now that I'm there, I can't do much of anything. My computer seems to just not be able to handle it.

I will say the lag is incredibly bad now, with so many more people playing. Very hard to time your sword swings for the combos when it's so behind. Should be interesting when they do the next stress test tomorrow!

Turns out when I checked my email this morning to get caught up from not checking it this week I had my code. Now off to the download page!

Still no luck for me

I got an email saying that "they" would talk to me very soon, but.. it's been almost 8 days now. Maybe I just haven't been waiting that long?

Thanks everyone - I'm in! Found the download in My Documents and dragged it to desktop, double clicked and it installed, woot! I have requested Coriander, but who knows? Collected the chest - I'm exhausted

O.K. so I logged in and made it to Port Royal, but I seem unable to even load the pages here. After 10 minutes of a frozen screen, I rebooted. Now I can't get past the opening page where you select "play". Anyone else having a problem??

*** Correction...I can now hear Port Royal music and slashing sounds, but have BSOD!

Yes I seem to have lots of lag, I requested my usual pinkgalYall, but as for now I am Stumpy, odd enough the name is seeming to grow on me. Now can y'all help me out here? I can't figure out how to talk.

I was having this problem last night. I rebooted my computer and after a while, the graphics came up. But, then I was unable to move much.


I was having severe lag last night. This was at 3 am est. So I don't know how many people were in there at that time.

I think they told us that our avatars will be deleted on the game news or maybe they already had before I joined?
