Well, come to find out.. When I FINALLY checked my email, I found a message including a beta key in my junk mail.. So I might start playing and I might not.. I'm still not sure..

beta testing is usually like this. the idea is to run everything at capasity in attempt to crash the servers. i am sure that at launch the game will run at the specifies system requirements on the home page, where as the requirements are greater for the beta. good luck with that and have fun

well the game is awesome. but i do get a tad annoyed when it slows down cause im so into it.

i bought a light frigate but it says 'freefooters may not captain' and i was like cruuuud.



plus i like shooting crabs with guns =]

Just to let you all know, i am in the game now too. i am Kate GunSparrow. LOL i am still not passed the part where i need to get the papers from the mansion. Every time i go to teleport i crash.

ill try. but i doubt it will work.

cause apparently they did an update the 11th but didnt tell us til the 14th-15th about newer players being the limited acsess. [[free booters]]

so i think the free guys can only pilot the light sloop.

Recieved a code and put it in but it didn't work. Maybe somebody used it? I tried it a few times and e-mailed them back (even though I knew they wouldn't respond since its probably automatic). I'm without my Pirates Beta for how long? Hope it comes out soon! I'll be waiting.

How do you move? Mouse, arrow keys?

What is the point of the game?

Are There Quests? Tasks, Etc?

More Questions i just found out..

Well, i just registered, and it didn't ask for my credit card Number.

It said, thank you for registering, now what? do i keep checking my email for a key or something?

Yes when you register you have to wait for your beta key. Seems they give them out randomly. Any new keys given are not for the unlimited play though. They are now givibg keys for the free version which has limited access.

Yes there are quests and tasks to do, which is how you advance in the game, however seems many of the quests are not quite complete and mnay ppl have bugs that don't allow them to complete quests.

You move using the keys, but the screen and view control is with the mouse. there are MANY MANY bugs to be worked out before they can even think about releasing the game to the public. Graphics issues, freeze issues, lag, chat problems, friends list problems, login issues, and even weapons problems are only a few of the problems this game has.
