POTC - Captain Jack

Just back from Disney and wondered what people who have just been thought about POCT. I love it and I know traditionalist like it as it is but I love Captain Jack and can't wait for him to be added.
We were wondering on our many rides on it this time if they might be secretly updating it now.
The bit where a pirate is sword fighting with Will Turner (?) has been completely covered up with a reed screen and it does look like they could be working on it.
I am sure you lot will be the first to let us all know.
We took 500 photos but didn't think of taking one of that sorry.

When we went last November, the two sword fighters were actually missing (though the sounds still playing :S) - To be honest, I always thought that part of it looked bad, they were miles apart so it just didn't look right.

On the other hand, I think I actually prefer it without Jack, I like the films (apart from the last one), but I feel that the Paris ride has it's own "mark" due to the fact he's not in it, and feels like something a little different.

We're just back too

Pirates is a stand out favourite of ours. I kind of miss the sword fight and also the swinging pirate who now just kind of hangs there But, we did notice that we seemed to get a bit wet this time, at the bottom of the climb up, and after the first small drop if sitting on the left. Not a problem, it was nice to cool down

Also loved the part after the second drop, with the cannons shooting into the water - that was really explosive! So I think some changes have definitely been made.

I don't know if I want to see Captain Jack there or not. DS would love it and in fact thinks he did see him - the scene where you can see shadows of a woman fighting off two pirates, one has a hat the same shape as Jack and DS is convinced it was him - who am I to tell him any different

The swinging pirate seems to not work 99% of the time now, although.. strangely, we did have it working 1 day last time we went? - The cannon effect has been there since I first went in 07, I really enjoy that to be honest.. very cleverly done!

One thing we say, is that every time you go on you notice more detail or something different each time!
