Posting while Waiting for Trick ot Treaters

Me too! My DH & DS6 have gone out, so I'm home alone! We have had at least 30 so far. We have a busy neighborhood, I'm sure they get bussed in!

Me too. However, I would not suggest watching scary movies while waiting for the trick or treaters - I jumped when the doorbell rang!

ETA: we have had about a dozen kids come by so far.

I have spent the last few years, decorating the yard and house, filling a huge bucket with treats, sitting patiently waiting for NO ONE TO COME!!
But this year YAY!!! I have had 2 cars of 4 kids!!
Finally!!
It has been a running joke with my family, they count to see how many cars go by without stopping, I keep giving each car excuses, no kids, rushing home from work, etc.
At least I know I'm not alone here!!

Me, me!!! I am sitting outside waiting and getting eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes. I have only had about 5 kids so far...

Where are all the kids? What am I gonna do with all of this delicious candy???

I stopped at the store today to get candy (I never should have waited until the last minute), well wouldn't ya know they were out!??!!? So I picked up rocks and pennies instead and am giving them out. The pennies are all shiney and new and the rocks are precious minerals.

I left a window open a little bit so I can hear voices (not just the ones inside my head). Well, if it gets too busy I'll just have to tell the kids, can you wait a second while I finish typing?
