Posting Pics

I know this has been discussed, but I can't remember which threads and the search engine doesn't retunr anything.

Do I have to be on the boards for a minimum time before I can post a pic? It tells me that I cannot post attachments.

Just trying to upload some pics, and can't figure out how.

You have to have a certain # of posts. I'm not sure how many.
You also have to use an img code from a pic host site.

OK, I have more than 10 posts, and I have been able to send & recieve PM's. I must be missing something. Can I upload them directly, or do they have to be on the Web somewhere?
