posting link in signature

Just wondering if someone could tell me how to post a link in my signature without it actually reading www...whatever. I want it to say something like, My pre trip report and when you click on it, it will take you right to the link. Does thate even make sense?

When you first post the link the code will look like this:

[URL="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1527188"]http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1527188[/URL]


Simply change the part in bold to be the name you want to display, such as:

[URL="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1527188"]My Trip Report[/URL]

You can change the part in bold by simply typing in the phrase you want to use when it first appears after you click the insert link icon and paste in the URL

And it will appear like this:

My Trip Report

Optional: A better way is not to use the link icon but just type the code directly, but use the showthread code instead of the URL code.

Use this code: [Thread=1527188]My Trip Report![/thread]
and you'll get the same thing:

[thread=1527188]My Trip Report![/thread]
