The damage happened during docking. Strong winds blew the ship into the dock in Costa Maya on Wednesday.
Remember, these ships are so large that cross winds can have a terrific impact on moving the ship. The side of the ship acts like a giant wind sail in a cross wind.
Repairs were expected to be completed today (Saturday) with the ship departing in the afternoon according to cruisecritic .com.
RCCL sure did manage to keep a lid on the bad pr for a while.
