Tickets for the new Disney dreams ship will go on sale later today. The new trips will go from the Port of London to Disneyland Paris for 3 and 4 day trips.

Each cruise will start in the port of London and go past the Tower, Docklands and Lakeside premium outlet, and have a day at the premier seaside of Southend on sea.

DCL says that Southend is the natural alternative to Castaway cay with its warm blue waters, and long pier to dock directly against.

For fans of the Magic Kingdom, you will not be disappointed as there is a theme park at the end of the Pier called Adventure Island with its own Characters.

The Ship will then go up the River Seine to Paris, Some people will say you are insane to miss this opportunity. DCL says some of the river levels might be a little low for them but they will ask passengers to get out and walk, if low tide means the ship cannot pass under the bridges up to Paris.

Trips can be combined with a three or four night stay at Disneyland Paris and there will be two trans Atlantic trips from the Caribbean.

Bookings must be made today on April 1st directly on DCL's website at 6pm Eastern time tonight to coincide with the Muppets being on television. Please go to CRUISE,> SPECIAL CRUISES >LOOPARILF.

Hi Nice try but living just oposite Southend on the Thames Estuary can vouch for the fact it is nothing like Castaway Cay and I have never been there yet.

Mght have fallen for it if you had said it was departing from Southampton like all liners do. Have another go. :confused3

Thanks for the heads up! :) Just booked the Walt Suite for our family. ;)

But it is true that large cruise ships now use the Port of London, one came in recently, I also saw a aircraft carrier at Greenwich recently with the kids, and thats no fool!

What do you mean Southend is NOTHING LIKE casterway cay? Next you will say Adventure island has nothing on MK, it does have a Dumbo ride, what more do you want!

And I heard they are going to christen it the Disney Ship of Fools! How nice that they pay homage to us August Repo cruisers! :rotfl: :wizard:
