Postcard

Hi,
I received postcard in mail yesterday and dropped my current reservation $20.00 this is the 3rd time I have dropped my rate since I booked about 2-3 weeks ago!! 1st was AAA, then sept room rate only, now postcard. I got POR for $264 for 3 nights.
Just an fyi, the postcard is in my maiden name (not sure why they are still sending me things in my maiden name, been married almost 5 years and go to wdw 2-3 times/year). Anyways, I mentioned it to them and it was fine, it does have my current address on it.
Hooray..by the way, name starts with an R, so I'm not sure if they are doing these alpahbetically or not..but I'm towards the end of the alphabet.

You know, I've been pondering these postcards, and I wonder if part of their marketing target is to get people that haven't visited in a while.

If you haven't used your maiden name in 5 years, their computers probably see you as an inactive guest - one who's stopped coming.

So their computer generates a postcard for you in your maiden name, since, for the past 5 years, you haven't been there according to their computer, cause you're now using your married name!

I'm bored, and it's just a theory I'm throwing out there.

Someone else posted something that made me think of what it could be. I never lived at my current address with my maiden name and have been married for 5 years, living at my current address for over 4 years. My disney stock is still in my maiden name and it has my current address. I am a previous disney store castmember and purchased stock that way, so it could actually be a stockholder thing, as I'm not sure how they would have my maiden name with my current address, otherwise!! The last time I stayed on property with my maiden name was 98 and 3 addresses ago!!
