I got mail today

I got postcards from Dalhound from Australia

What a beautiful country you have. These postcards just make me want to visit there even more.

I received my post cards from Nancy (luvmrypoppins) today. I used to drive through your part of the country every summer when I was a child. My mother hails from West Virginia and we always went to visit family there.

Thank you for bringing back so many good memories!

Thank-you so much Susan for sending my DD postcards and a bookmark from TX!! She has them spread out all over the dining room table and is showing them to the neighborhood kids, telling about each one!! She is planning to take them to school and tell all of her friends about the cool people on the dis, that send you neat things in the mail....

The other day we received postcards from Meriweather and powellrj's DD. Thank you both. The postcards from Washington were beautiful. Had to laugh at the one with the Space Needle (because of that awful made for tv movie 10.5 )

DD loved her postcards from Indiana. She was so excited to get mail, she couldn't wait to show Grandpa and tell him they were from 'mommy's computer friends'.

I am going to look a little closer at them tonight. There are some really nice cards in there.

I got post cards today from Pooh'sPal!! They are from Massachusetts! Not only are there pictures, there were also 2 with recipes! One was of pictures was of JFK also! Thank-you so mcuh for a great exchange!

She also included a very informative letter with lots of history.
