Hey everyone!! I am trying to think of some great Disney/Florida inspired favors for my guests. I need something that will travel easy on an airplane so nothing fragile. Also, no chocolate since it will be in August!

Please post what you are using for your favors!

Thanks :flower3:

We are giving a personalized Christmas ornament. They are on page 5 of my PJ. We are only having 14 guests, though. They wouldn't be a feasible (or affordable) option if we were having a bigger wedding.

We had a silhouette artist. Each guest had their silhouette done and that was their favor. It was put in a nice card and everyone loved it. Also families were able to do it together or have one of just their kids. It travels well and was a great price. Our guests thought it was so unique and it went along perfect with where our VR was, the Grand Floridian. I did hire the silhouette artist by myself. She works at DtD. If I would have booked it through Disney it would have been $1000 more! What was a special touch was she made a copy of each silhouette for us, put it in an album and each guest got to write us a message under their silhouette! No extra charge and it was the best keepsake!

It depends on how many guests you have but personally I love mickey ear favors - so cute and you'll never get them at a non Disney/ Disney themed wedding! A cheaper option would be a Disney trading pin - I'm sure there are wedding themed ones.

This site also has some fairytale inspired ideas: http://www.favorideas.com/wedding-themes/fanciful-themes/how-about-a-disney-fairytale-wedding/

Happy shopping!

That sounds so lovely! How sweet of her to make you copies too. :cutie:

I am having a photobooth where the guests will be able to take home as many pictures of themselves as they want (and each one has our name/date on it) and they will get to take these home too, to use with the pictures (we will be using them for place cards)

We did a cd with some of our favorite songs on it. I ordered the labels online. They were really easy to transport, we had to bring almost 70 of them to the wedding.

We did a combination:

Star shaped place card/photo holders (Ebay! Woo hoo!):

And Treat Boxes. These we made ourselves, and filled with Wonka candy. (we're :goofy:) We ordered the boxes online from a confection website, and everything else is scrapbook supplies from Michaels.

These were the favors we purchased, we got them online, I think they were $2.50 each.

We have not ordered yet, but we were thinking Disney Halloween tree ornaments. We are having our wedding in October and specifically chose it because it is such a fun time of year in Disney.

We too are having a very small VR with just 14 guests. The men will all receive a pair of socks (the same as DH will be wearing on the day) and a sample of the fragrance he will be wearing. Here are the socks

The ladies are different according to their age. The two youngest ladies (aged 15 and 23) will receive a Mickey bangle like this

The two middle ladies (aged mid-forties) will receive a Mickey bracelet

The two older ladies (both in their seventies) will receive a small crystal perfume bottle (which I have no photo of)
All ladies will receive a sample of the fragrance I will be wearing on the day too.
The three children (aged 11, 9 and 3) will all receive a disney gift card so as they can choose their own gift!!

We didn't want to do traditional favors (because we realized that we never take them/keep them from any weddings we have gone to), so, we picked two charities that are near and dear to us and made a donation to each in our guests names. We had a sign next to our guest book letting people know about the donations.

Yes, I bought them from Platinum goodies.com. I was a little nervous at first because it seemed that all of the sites that sold those candles were a little sketchy, but platinum goodies didn't give me any problems. :goodvibes

We did the chocolate placecards from Disney Floral

Our wedding has a Snow White-esque theme, so our favors are going to be caramel apples. It might be more accurate to have candied apples, but I don't like the taste ;). I always love getting food/candy favors at weddings.

If you don't mind me asking. How much did those cost? :rolleyes1

They were $6 per person - they can be white/milk/dark chocolate and we could either have a mickey, castle or carriage next to the name. I also think they will customize for you :thumbsup2

Disney Floral will send you a photo of all the different chocolate favors they do :)

Hope that helps!

These are great, I was thinking of doing these too because you get the placecards and favor all in 1.

We are actually doing lottery tickets in a cute box, then for something a little Disney we are buying each guest Mickey ears. I'm really excited!! We are also having a dessert party and giving some pieces of chocolate for favors there!:thumbsup2
