booked 4/12-4/18. total for three people was $701. This is a LOT less than I paid for february break last year, so we're happy. Now with the savings, I need to crunch the numbers and see if I can change my ressie to WL...

Booked PVD to FLL for a cruise April vacation week @ $355 pp (incl. taxes). I needed 8 seats for a friend, her family and another family so I had to grab it because of the number of seats. I also at the same time booked another flight for me and my friends for a cruise in May PVD to FLL @ $240 pp. Higher than usual but very doable. Now to wait for DINGS!!

We have to fly on 3/16/08 b/c DD has a competition on 3/15/08. The cheapest flight I could get was $139-159 one way and we needed 5 tickets. Booked flights on SWA at 2:30 PM and they were $98 one way. I was hoping for $139 or less---so $98 is great!
We are renting a car for $150 for 2 days at the end of the trip and driving back (got a rental with no drop fee)--good thing, b/c tickets coming back were $159+.

MCO to BUFF April 20th $246.00 one way. Yikes

I booked jet blue April 4th for 139.00, I wish I had waited it is going for 114 on SW. Who was to know.

I took the day off work and I had two computers going. Stress plus plus, and I too saw the prices jumping.

Total with taxes and fees $224 pp RT. I am not jumping for joy with a rate like that, the way rates are going, I feel like I did ok.

Not sure at what price they opened up at, but by the time I got to the computer (about 10:00 AM MST) my rate from MCO to PHX was $188. 3 hours later the price had gone up to $248.

$216 total for a round trip to MCO from IAD.

I don't have any intention of actually paying this fare. Either that price will come down or I will book another airline, cancel this and use the credit. But my dates are still during spring break and I think I should have something reserved.

I got April week with weekend to/from for 310 p/person, while the rest of the family tried to get same flights and got bumped out before the credit card went thru.
They lost out twice! Each time with another increase.
So, they wound up taking a later flight and paid $398. p/person in all of 2 minutes.
Those flights went so fast, our heads were spinning!!!!
We'll just hope some Dings come our way!

For a holiday week with weekend travel at times I wanted, at $310, I'm okay with it, but would be welcome to save some money!

FRI FOLLOW UP:
I checked the site again this morning to see where the fares were and
To MCO: is sold out completely for the sat with the first 4 non stops, so business class at $226 is only option WITH a nite flight,
on the return, it is also business class only @ nite with $226 totaling 452 WITHOUT those crazy taxes, which I guess would bring the fare paid to about $475 p/person, OUCH!
SO, I guess the 310 and 398 fares we got yesterday in the mad rush FEELS a little better, so the
DING wait begins... LOL!

Our school vaca is April 21-April25th and I thought we had the last week for NH vacation. I know some parts of the state holiday with Mass but I didn't reallize some schools have their vacation later. Is this just in the Salem area?

I am not sure about the school calendar for other area's of NH, but according to the Salem School District calendar, vacation week is 4/26-5/4. I know that a friend at work lives in Hampton and her child has the same week off as we do. I guess I am no help. Just double the school calendar to be safe.

Jan 24-28th. I was able to get the same rate for out trip this past June. 6 RT tickets for $712.80..although that was flying out of Philly instead of Baltimore. I much prefer flying out of Baltimore, so I was thrilled to be able to get the fare for BWI.

Oh, gotcha. That is usually what we pay for off-peak times also. I thought this was a spring break rate. I was about to try to change my flight from PHL to BWI!

ISP - MCO 4/18-4/26 nonstop

$295 rt including taxes per person X 4 people.

Much better than JetBlue and Delta who wanted almost $700 rt plus taxes for the same dates and just about same times.
