Also of note I tried all day yesterday to get through on the phones and got busy signal all day!! SAme today starting at 7 am. Then someone else in this thread suggested 18008486413 I was able to get through with no problem. Very nice CM and helpful. ​

wow! I was moved to the same resort and a 1 Bedroom. However, I was club level at the Grand Floridian. We were paying 598.00 a night. I really wanted to stay at Grand and I'm not sure if this was a fair move. Was your room one of the top catergories at CDT?

It is. They have some pricey suites. We were paying $670/night WITH the sun & fun discount. We actually saved $ by switching!

If you need guest services, I believe their direct number is 407-939-7866, that way you don't have to get transferred.

THANK YOU for posting this number!!! I dialed the resort number over 150 times this morning and just got a busy signal. This number connected in three tries and I was on the phone with someone in 10 minutes. I was amazed! Moved from CBR 5th sleeper to the cabins at Fort Wilderness, same dates, no price change.

Late July YC reservation. Fun and Sun. Began calling at 7am. At 10am got through, put on hold, the system disconnected at noon. Called again, put on hold for 2 hours, talked to a helpful CM at 2pm. He could not do much for me--one bed room at CR, I need 2 beds, so he transferred me to Guest Services. I have been on hold since then, 4.25 hours. I need to hang up soon because it's primary day where I live and I need to go vote. 11.5 hours trying to get my room changed to an open hotel!

Called, spoke to a great CM, and was lucky enough to receive a really nice upgrade. Totally expected more of a “lateral” resort change. Very excited for our first stay at any Deluxe Resort.

Yes, the feel reminded me of the Grand and the room is HUGE! I thought it was as nice as the Grand F. Villa. I've never stayed anywhere but the monorail and boardwalk area, so this will be very different. Hoping for the Skyliner to be open! Have a great trip! We will be staying around the same time at the resort.
