it's just crazy how inconsistent these moves are. A few posts bf was someone with one less person and they received a 2BR at SSR and you receive 1BR. I hope you are able to get a 2 BR.

A lot will have to do with what is actually available to move them into for their dates, especially if they are moving to a DVC resort.

Has anyone been able to reschedule to Jambo House DVC for July? Disney's site says it opens July 10, but TA is telling me it's not available for July 11-18.

check in date of July 18, I have heard zero from disney. When I tried calling June 17 CM wouldn't even answer my questions (truly believe she didn't know answers) we are cash stay 2 nights at ASSp and DVC 5 nights at OKW. Can not get into park reservation system....hanging on this long to just let it go doesn't seem right but not sure what to do.

Anyone else with July 18 first night heard anything?

You need to call them today. They’re helping people in you checkin window now. They will not contact you.

First they said there would a price increase. I said I didn’t think that was fair they closed my resort and I would have to pay . She said hold on , came back about 20 minutes later and said no charge. I was extremely polite and patient. It took 4 hours

My original resort was: All Star Music
I originally booked using bounceback free dining. Switched to the recovery package with 35% discount
I am being moved to: Pop Century
My cost increase/decrease is: No increase or decrease
I made my original reservation myself
I was contacted about my resort’s closure - I wasn’t contacted
There are 2 adults in my party
Called 6/22/20 - On hold for 2.5 hours before CM answered. They then transferred me to guest services which was another 2.5 wait on hold.

I was polite but told him I didn't see that as fair since GF isn't really closed, its closed to me because of the NBA. He put me on hold for guest services, but said there was a 2 hour wait for them. Wish me luck. I'm on hour 8 of Disney and I'm starting to crack.

From 2 Garden view wing rooms to a 2bdrm GFV. And the GFV has worse bedding than the 2 rooms at GF (4 Q, 2 daybeds vs 1K, 2Q, Q sofa bed, 1 pulldown bed) so I'd go down in # of beds and quality of beds.

I really trying to stay tough. I won't pay the extra, and I won't get mad, I'm more worried about crying when they finally answer, since I'm so stressed over all of this. Hours and Hours of the same Disney music is starting to be torture.

On 3/12 I held for over 7 hours, Cosmo answered at 2 am and I said “Holy s—t, you actually answered” he probably thought I was crazy.

Only the villas are opening at Jambo , the DVC villas. Maybe they are full of people being moved there?

• I originally booked using Sun & Fun discount
• I am being moved to: AK Kidani Village Deluxe Studio - Standard View
• My cost increase/decrease is: None (same cost)
• I made my original reservation myself
• I wasn’t contacted about my hotel's closure. I called and spent almost 5 hours total on the phone. After the first 1.5 hours, I reached a regular CM who transferred me to guest services. At about 4.5 hours in, I talked with a guest services rep who helped me change my reservation.
• There are 2 adults in my party

I'm telling myself that I can't get excited for another two weeks or so. I'm really worried about FL's rising Covid-19 numbers. I think it's more likely that my state would put a mandatory quarantine order in place, and then I wouldn't be able to go because I need to return to work after our trip. :-( Anyone else feeling a mix of excitement and stress?

I'm going Sep 7th-12th. I've been debating on waiting or calling. I was also staying at All Stars. Maybe I'll call tomorrow and have the same luck.
