Pap is the easiest thing to eat IMO. It is just like grits, or thick cream of wheat. Pretty boring really, nothing odd about it. That tomato salsa like stuff next to it makes it really good. That and the pap are some of my favorite things there.

I love Boma! We'll be eating there on our arrival night, 9/02! I've never had the pap, but I will now. I love grits, with sugar, so that's how I'll try the pap. Well, maybe I'll try the tomato stuff on it first, but if I don't like that I know I'll like it with sugar!

Isn't that pretty much like sour cream?? :teeth:

LOL Probably, I don't like to think of Sour Cream as really Sour....LOL

Is it the same thing, or is sour milk different?

Umm... you'd probably be suprised at the things you eat that are made with "sour milk". Breads, biscuits, cakes, cookies... that's the kind of stuff I've used it in.

I think some might be thinking of "sour milk" as being spoiled milk. Actually, I've had to make sour milk, which can be done by adding a teaspoon of vinegar or lemon juice to a cup of FRESH milk.

Yep - Sour Milk would actually be buttermilk would it not? I've seen that you can add vinegar or lemon juice to milk to sour it to be like buttermilk?

Yes, sour milk and buttermilk are similar and I've substituted homemade sourmilk for buttermilk when I didn't have any. (I was making "buttermilk" pancakes and forgot I ran out of buttermilk! - hate when that happens) The pancakes were still quite yummy! :teeth: Hrmm... I might have to make those in the morning for breakfast! :rotfl2:

OK, kevin and I are coming to your house for breakfast. Sounds like you enjoy cooking like I do.

I make homemade waffles on an antique waffle iron (those new fangled non-stick ones just don't make good waffles....).

:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

So true!

This is the favorite of myself and my mom and we go just as two adults, not even for the characters just for the food! LOL

I think Donalds has the best selection around!

HaHa MD! Good one! and we're from the South? We made up for it with the Krispy Kremes!

I think Donalds has the best selection around!

You're so right Stacey! I was pleasantly surprised because this was our first try at Donald's and I will definitely put it on the list for November. Besides the usual bacon and eggs, there were chocolate chip pancakes and a delicious deep-dish tex-mex breakfast pie. There must have been gravy to go with those biscuits...... :goodvibes

Sounds good to me... I won't have to "half" the recipe.

I used to love to cook, especially desserts. Actually, I still enjoy it, but I HATE the cleanup, which is why I don't do it much anymore. Maybe when I remodel my kitchen and actually have an automatic dishwasher. :teeth:

I agree on the waffle irons... I have one of the non-stick ones and have yet to fix waffles that are really good. :confused3

BTW, we saw you guys at MGM in June but I didn't realize who you were until you were going by and dbf told me "those are the guys from disboards". After seeing all of the food pics you post... we gotta hang out with you guys at WDW! :rotfl2:

Sure! Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Patty, Bacon, Breakfast Pizza, Cinnamon Swirl, Biscuit, Banana, Krispy Kreme Doughnut, Pineapple, Honeydew Melon, Yellow Cling Peaches, Hash Browns, Brunch Frittata, Chocolate Chip Pancakes, Mexican Rice Casserole, Blueberry Danish :teeth:

The breakfast I enjoyed the most was at Port Orleans before they closed the restuarant. OMG it was AWESOME! The hot Beignets plus all the breakfast.....I'm drooling just thinking about it....LOL!

This thread is awesome. I'm going to get fired for sure... all i've been doing for the majority of the past few days is looking at the food. Yes, i went through every stinkin' page and now, i'm going to take pics of all my food no matter how big or small in September!!!!

This thread had to be the one worthy of my 2nd post ever on this board!!
