We are bringing out laptop (now able to unload memory card each night ;) ) and a few memory cards for our May trip. I wasn't going to take picture, but now I see how helpful seeing the food actually is! I will post pictures here when I get back!

Love this thread but hoping there would be some pictures from Raglan Road. Anyone have any that they care to share?

Thanks DebIreland, I searched the thread but somehow missed those of Raglan Road.

Do your pictures have to be hosted from someplace like snapfish or photobucket to post them here? Is there a link you can direct me to that has instructions for posting? Thanks.

You can get these at Aloha Isle in Adventureland in MK.

I always get half pineapple and half chocolate. YUM!!!

That's how I get mine, when I have them :)

Root beer with pineapple sounds interesting though, I may have to try that next time we head over to MK

Thanks Penny! Yes, that meal is indeed counterservice - Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, and is the Chicken and Lamb Sharwarma platter ($10.99) which counts as a combo under the dining plan. In the center is a piece of Moroccon bread, and clockwise from the top, the combo includes chicken, hummus, couscous, tabbouleh, and lamb. The white sauce on the meat and poultry is some kind of a yoghurt and onion dressing. Yum! :flower:

We got this within the last month or so (it's our fave at Tangierine Cafe) and I think the price has gone up to $13.99! It's very good, though, and plenty to share.

Yes, I think the easiest way is to host them either at Photobucket [by uploading them and then copying and pasting the text in the 'Img' box beneath each photo to your message here] or host them here at the DIS at http://www.wdwinfo.com/photopost/index.php .

I seem to recall that you need a certain number of posts before you can post photos though - I'm not 100% sure about that.

There is more info about posting photos on the Technical Board
http://disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=43
There's a 'Tech Board Frequently Asked Questions' sticky thread near the top with info in it. Good luck!

Thanks for your help DebIreland. I began taking food pictures because of this thread so when I get enough posts I will be happy to share them here.

Here are some photos of the kids dessert at the Yacht Club Galley. I'm uncertain if they tasted good, but the girls sure had a great time with them!

EDIT - well that didn't work. If you really want to see them, just right click on the red x and click "properties"... then you can copy the URL and paste it into your address line and click "go".

Can anyone confirm if this is the potato and leek soup? It looks great and I would like to order it next time.

Can you tell me what is in this? Specifically the vegetables.

How is this? Is it very strong with guiness? I love beef stew and this looks good, but I am not a big beer drinker.

Thanks,
Maggie

Hi Maggie,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you - I was at WDW again for the EE AP preview :) , but I brought back a bad cold bug as an unwanted souvenier :(.

I still don't know what that soup is, but I'll ask my daughter when she wakes up to see if she remembers. The chicken pasty is something like a chicken pot pie, I think (I wasn't the one who had this, either), with chicken and veggies in a cream sauce in a pastry. Those veggies with it are green beans, but I don't really know what veggies are in the pasty. The guiness stew, I actually know about, since I was the one who had that! It was fantastic. I don't drink beer (or any other alcohol) at all, and it didn't taste "beery" to me. It just had a really good flavor, very rich, and the beef was super tender. I can certainly recommend it.

OMG! I'm getting so hungry I could almost eat that entire sundae all by myself!
