Love the chocolate covered strawberries from Boma's. Did you order that through them specifically? And how much advance do they need? Thanks for sharing that picture!

My FSIL ordered them for her dads birthday(he has been going to disney every year for his b-day ever since the park opened) SHe ordered them a few weeks in advance, no sure of the price, but what ever it was it was worth it they were great.

Wow! The baked pasta with gruyere cheese looks so much better on your plate than it did on DH's plate...I knew it couldn't always look like his did...dry. Thanks for posting so I could see the right way it should be served.

I absolutly loved it and I cant wait to go again. The decor made me feel like I was in the 80's but I didnt care cuz I liked the way the restaurant was set up and the food was delish. I had a glass of wine, sashimi rolls and seafood for dinner...excellent! :teeth:

I LOVED Crystal Palace! I wrote reviews of all the restaurants here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=990861

Hope that helps :)

The food's not bad at Crystal Palace. I quite enjoyed it. Winnie the Pooh and his friends are there. The puffed French toast is delicious.

I tried the CP for breakfast the first time this August. I had been for lunch and dinner several times before and always enjoyed it. We had a 8:10 ADR. Got to walk up a nearly empty Main St which was great. We all really LOVED it! There was me, DS(4), Dfriend(50ish), her DH(50ish), and their DS(15). Even the 15 year old wanted his photo taken with the characters. The food was great. Loved the French Toast (the 15 year old didn't like it) and the breakfast lasagna was great. Before I went I had read about it and thought it was some egg and meat thing but it was made with pancakes and fruit and bananas. YUMMY! I also really liked that not only do they have an omlet station but you can also get an egg fried anyway you want. My kids don't like scrambled eggs but love fried eggs so I was really happy to get them an egg that they would eat. On that trip we were done with breakfast just about 9am and beat all the crowds coming up Main St. My DS & I went to Fantasy Land and very quickly did all the rides there without any waits while my friends hit the mountains with no lines. I think even folks who got at MK when it opened were slowed down with characters or just enjoying Main St to be at Fantasy Land at 9:02.

I enjoyed it so much that I went again for breakfast in Oct with my DD(6) and another friend and her DD(6). This time the crowds were a bit heavier and we finally had to ask to see Piglet after waiting over an hour. It was a lot slower getting out of there then. I also went later in the week after the rest of family arrived and again it was a slower seeing all the characters than it had been in August but we all still really LOVED it and I'm sure it will be a must do!

Have you tried Boma for breakfast? Great food with no characters but harder to get to if you don't have a car.

does anyone have pictures of crystal palace for supper menu or is their any on this thread if any one can remember where they are that would be great Our plans changed we were going to go to Disney in December 2006 but we couldn't wait that long so now were going in May and are taking a couple of 1st timers with us so I'm trying to prepare for ressies

Thanks for the great info...from everyone! I've read them all and would love to eat here...but, after this trip I promised DH and DS no more buffets...they are just not very impressed with them...although in 2003 we did do Boma for breakfast and it has been by far our fav for breakfast buffets. I think part of their problem is they are just not morning people...not that I'm much better, but I am the biggest kid and love seeing the characters...maybe I'll just have to break down and work on taking some of the great-nieces and nephews...hum?

Anyway, sorry to ramble a bit there...thanks again for the info...it does sound pretty tasty!!

We are going to Disney next week. With the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream, Can you have the muffins, and cakes taken off? All that cake seems like too much to eat.

All of this food looks wonderful :goodvibes Can hardly wait for my cruise.

Does anyone know if there is pistachio almond ice cream available on the Magic? :scratchin
