Unfortunately they were $$$$! It was $10.60, but I compared it to getting truffles from anywhere else, and it's reasonable (such as Godiva). The strawberries were the best part - fabulously ripe, and the coating was lemon or strawberry flavored (according to the colors). There were also two white chocolate coconut truffles (FH's favorite), two crunchy bittersweet chocolate truffles (my favorite), and two milk chocolate hazelnut coated truffles.
Thanks for the info :)

YUM! :earboy2:

Is the Italy cart always there?

The cart is always there - sorry, didn't have a better word for it last night. It's the booth that's on the Germany side of Italy, where they sell pastries, wine, and coffee. Right next to the donkey.

And for you guys who are looking for it, I hope it's still there when you go, and not a seasonal thing! We had it this past Saturday, 4/30, and I hope they keep it around.

That first post in this thread showing a photo of the Mickey Waffle was kind of disturbing. It looked as though Mickey had had his brains bashed in with a shovel.

:rotfl2:

Man o Man.. I'm not gonna be able to try ANYTHING until Dec 2006 :(

The cupcake wasnt very good but it was the thought that counts. It was for my DS's 6th birthday. Hope I did it right.

A couple to add:

The mini Cheddar Cheese Soup from Le Cellier you can get during F&W Fest. Not quite the same without pretzel bread, though!

Tonga Toast!
So that is what Tonga Toast looks like! :goodvibes

These are from Shutters at Carribean Beach Resort
My 5 yr old and her Ice Cream SandCastle

The trio of dips with bread, there was a garlic one, a peppery one and humus (sp?) one

this is an Island something or other drink, at the Yacht Club Galley it's called a Hoist a Flag, but it's the same drink

here is a crab cake appetizer with a plantain sticking out of it. It came with a corn bread thing that wasn't bread at all

here is the wings appetizer

my salmon, wonderful!

here is the banana bread pudding. It came with a coconut ice cream

and the flourless chocolate cake - omg was SO good!!

More to come, that was the first table service meal

the salad that was SO great, it had cranberries, pears and pecans... even my 5 year old loved it

the kid's appetizer, grapes and cheese

my pork tenderloin in a cranberry glaze

the chocolate mousse dessert

fondue, the chocolate was so rich!

Nora

this was a cheese appetizer, no idea of the name of the cheese, it was VERY soft

the pot roast, it literally falls apart when you touch it with your fork and melts in your mouth it's so tender

dd5 and dh eating their sundaes, dh had the Dad's Sundae with cracker jack and M&Ms, dd had the build your own sundae from the kid's menu

me and dd2 eating our sundaes. I got the banana split w/only chocolate icecream, she had the build your own split with her sister

and atmosphere shot, lol, this is our waiter (cousin) dancing with my dd2 "cause she is just too cute" according to him and "she was so polite"

Ok, last set of digital images. Film should be back by Saturday and I will scan in more food pics. The digital battery was getting low or we didn't have it with for some meals. DH thought I was whacked taking so many food pics. I only took pics of the interesting looking things though!!

oops, found another fondue pic from the Grand Floridian...

Concourse appetizer - sesame wings, sticky, tasty and messy all in one!

Prime Steak (don't remember which cut) with mashed white SWEET POTATOES!! (never had them mashed before, mil always makes the white ones though) and fresh Green Beans. Have to say we never had anything but obviously fresh veggies there.

My 2 yr old examining her little chocolate Mickey stick. You know when you get bday cupcakes they stick in a plastic little decoration? Well, this was a chocolate one on her Mickey Brownie Sundae (next pic). The sundae had Mickey sprinkles on the ice cream.

and my dessert - a cappacino cheesecake w/a fabulous chocolate sculpture

And finally from our last meal at Pop resort (we went there just to see it and have this meal before catching our flight home), Tara, my 5 year old with her tie dye cheesecake...

That will be all for now.
Nora, gained 4 lbs and now you know why... Dining Plan rocks big time!!

Oh man, you have me wanting to go to those three places now...we were kinda iffy on where to go this weekend, actually trying to decide between those three.

What a great post! Now I am starving! My husband made fun of me the whole time for taking pictures of our food! I'd show you my pics but I can't figure out how to post :(

Nora, we have the same cousin. LOL. That was our waiter 2 weeks ago at 50's Prime time cafe. He was great. I was scolded for elbows on the table and for not eating all my green beans. He fed my green beans to me. He also brought out a cupcake for my DS who was turning 6 and we sang Happy Birthday to him.
Excellent food and atmosphere.

This is such great fun! I have nothing to contribute...but I promise I will come October! The presentation of the foods are truly beautiful! My MIL always says: You eat with your eyes first! ;)
