50s Prime Time...

Fried Herb Cheese appetizer:

Okay - I've got to order this! I wouldn't have if I hadn't seen the photo. Looks totally yummy!

I can't believe I've never seen this thread before now!!! I've got some serious catching up to do..;)

I ran into Goofy's Candy Factory and picked up two pieces of fudge, a chocolate mint smoothie slab, and a large haystack. I ate on them for over a week after I got home.

Just exactly what is a chocolate mint smoothie slab? You've piqued my chocoholic interest... :rotfl:

You had me at 'chocolate' but lost me at 'mint'. I dislike mint or mocha. I like my chocolate 'straight up'.

Huh, I tried one at the Boardwalk candy store and liked it so much I ran by Goofy's Candy Store in DTD to get one to take home. However, now that I think about it I don't really know how to describe it. It's sort of like a large flattened (1/2" thick) 4"x4" piece of really hard mint fudge covered with either milk chocolate or dark chocolate, then drizzled with green mint? I really don't care for mint all that much, but that thing was good. It was just soooo rich though, I could just handle a nibble or two at a time.:confused3

This is what I read about the dessert, which can be ordered at GF, not sure about any other resorts:

We are going to be there the same week you are! Where are you from? We are coming from Northern MI:banana:

Cape May does not have any crab legs or claws. There were a couple fish entrees, clams, mussels and chilled peel and eat shrimp. I guess you could also count fish sticks on the kiddie bar as seafood :)
