How was the pesto risotto? I'm guessing that was yours---as I recall you're a fellow vegetarian? I've been a little nervous about the Coral Reef risotto...

You guessed correct! :thumbsup2 I am a fellow vegetarian, so as you know, our options are limited at some of the WDW restaurants. I was a little apprehensive about the Risotto too. It was okay, in my opinion. The taste, flavors, and smell are very strong! It's pesto and there is crumbled blue cheese on top, so those are two strong tastes. It was really too much and I couldn't handle more than a couple bites before it was almost overwhelming. I think it is worth a try, especially if you want to check out Coral Reef. I had always wanted to go there, but I don't eat fish and DH doesn't like it. He's actually allergic to shellfish, so there was no point for us to go there. My family came for a visit and wanted to go, so I was glad I got to enjoy the restaurant! :goodvibes

Hi, My DH says you need to go to England and get the Cadbury Flake (like a candy bar- stick of chocolate). Everytime we are in Epcot, He MUST get this there. I kid you not. This will be his 10th trip and I guarantee this trip will be no different. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

This is one of my favourite chocolate bars here in England :thumbsup2 PM me your DH's name and address and maybe I can send a little Cadbury Magic from over here in England;)
I've had a lot of help from people on these boards and I would love to spread a little magic your way:)

GREAT photos... What sort of drinks are the pineapples? Kona is one of our favorites & we've never had the chance to sample one of the pineapples!

You guys are the best!

Ok, so my list for a treat to entice ds to countries so far is:

Germany: Gummy treats
Great Britain: Cadbury Flake bar
Japan: Kakagori

Am I missing anything else a kid (or not so short kid) will really love?

It was very yummy! I loved it! And how did you know!? Yes, that is Swiss chard! It also had a vinaigrette on it and pine nuts. I just love all the flavors and tastes together!

;) I grew swiss chard last year in my garden, so I can spot it a mile away! :rotfl: well, maybe not a mile...

your pic makes me want to go to yachtman's...not enough days in the trip! LOL

You can get the Cadbury Flake and other English Chocolates at World Market if you have one near you. We have also seen them at some mall based candy stores.

i agree they are very good. Very different from what we are used to. My favorite is the Crunchie bar. Very good.

Cadbury is probably my favorite chocolate! When we visited my sister in Germany a couple years ago, they had an English shop on the Air Force base where they were stationed and they had several different Cadbury chocolate bars that I hadn't seen in the states before. Thankfully, many of the grocery stores in my area have an International Foods aisle and in they usually have some Cadbury chocolate.

Thanks---that helps! We've been to CR before so we'll have to evaluate since it sounds like quite the strong dish (and I'm not a blue cheese fan).
Thanks again!

We make a trip every year to Ontario and I bring back more "Aero" bars than I do LaBatts - my friends think I am nut!:rotfl:

Our local Stop & Shop carries the Aero bars. YUMMY! Check the International Foods aisle in your local grocery store and you might just find them.
