Hey ALL.... FYI... from my Magical Mountain newsletter tonite..

""Walt Disney World has made a major announcement today regarding their MGM Studios Park in Orlando. Beginning in January, Disney-MGM Studios will be reopened as Disney's Hollywood Studios. This has been a widespread rumor for quite some time now, although many thought that the name would contain ABC or Pixar. "The new name reflects how the park has grown from representing the golden age of movies to a celebration of the new entertainment that today's Hollywood has to offer.""

So...is the name "lame" or am I just used to the old one??

Its sure a great photo op event.

I read and saw a video on the "new" parade, here's the narrative off the Disneyland site:

Sure glad I took these shots in May..now..going back in Oct and for sure will take a bunch more in light of its demise.

I am going to miss this parade too! It appeals to all ages. I think, from looking at the video, that it will be more geared toward younger kids. Good for them, but, after seeing it one time, I don't think I will have to see it again.
