You have to have the new Window's Vista processing system. If you don't have it, you can always upgrade.

Thats a cute background.
Like the person below said to get the count down you need Vista.
I wouldn't download Vista just for the countdown. Vista has some bugs in it that aren't worked out yet.

You can't JUST download it....its like 200$+....its not free. Only a few computers you can update for free, and yes it has lots of bugs still.

This wont get it to look as good as the vista one but it will work if the countdown is being hosted on the web.

Right click desktop>Properties>Desktop>Customize Desktop>Web>New>Put URL to countdown in Location Bar>OK>OK>OK>OK
There you go a nice countdown for whatever you want.
