What did everyone do for their center pieces at their reception? Did you bring your own items or did you use something Disney sold?

Here's ours! We brought everything on the tables execept for the stanchions the table names are in!

Really..someone should stop asking for pictures. I have an addiction and you all don't help!
BUT!! For all DCL brides, I will post this (honestly..just trying to help). I ordered loose flowers and glass cubes from a flower shop and made my own centerpiece because DCL didn't have the ability

ETA - i had to do this and RUN them up to Palo about an hour before the ceremony...the flowers were sent to the room at 3:30 then I needed rubber bands to make them stay in a bunch and I had no scissors so my WC ran to get me some..we literally RAN to Palo and RAN back to start getting ready!

We went with an outside vendor, Charming Events....much cheaper then Disney floral!!

I haven't had my wedding yet but this is the inspiration pic I am using for my centerpieces, I want my tables to look exactly like this

I know this will probably be really expensive, but the room decor is something I want to splash out on

I just recently posted ours. We bought them from wanderfuls.com. They're favors (filled with candy) that combine to make the centerpiece.

I am making mine for our VR... here they are - they are all in progress. Each table will have a specific movie theme, coordinating color(linens) and a table card. Guests will find their seat card with theme related item attached and then find their specific table where they will choose their seat. I am only having 4 guest tables and sweetheart table. The sweetheart table will have 4 mini bouquets. None of the CPs are completed , but costs have been minimal at best. The flowers have cost the most. I have retouched some of the Centerpieces here and there but you get the idea.

Toy story table CP with the seating cards attached to blocks

POTC seating cards will be attached to pieces of gold. I have added a mini treasure chest to the base

cinderella seating cards will be attached to glass slippers. the glass slipper at base (hardly see in pic) I have painted with silver glitter paint so it can been seen better. I also added some fuller looking white flowers/roses.

Jungle book seating cards will be attached to monkeys(?) I have added a few additional jungle animals.

the table cards and (tent) seating cards. Each tent seating card has a quote from that movie on the inside,i.e. Cinderella "a dream is a wish your heart makes" etc....

sweetheart table will have 4 mini bouquets...

Mary I love all your floral!!! Every time I see your pics I think "this is really pretty, I wonder who's it is", and every time it's yours!!! Can I ask, how much extra, per table, were those overlays?

I don't have photos . . .mainly because I haven't had my wedding yet. This fall I am making a sample tho to see how it will look.

But if I tell ya, you might be able to picture it in your mind.

Our table clothes are champagne coloured

our center pieces

Our pumpkins, gutted, and I am taking a power drill ( love me some power tools) and doing random holes through out the pumpkin.

Then we are filling the inside of the pumpking with limes, apples, and grapes, and they will spill out over the table (gives me a chance to through some food man)

And

For some of the other tables using white flowers (god only knows what kind yet) and putting them in a vase that will be placed inside of a pumpkin (so the peak out from the top, and again with the wholes, and placing green candles inside the pumpkin as well that surrounding the vase (I hops the flames don't boil the water in the vase).

So I hope this all turns out for me in the long run. I have the worse luck sometimes when it comes to flowers . . .living things in general, I mean I've even killed a cactus and that's pretty bad. I even killed a fish in 24 hours . . no idea how but i did

This was the one area where we included a Disney touch. I used snowglobes that I bought on Disneyshopping and at the Disney store. I actually had 10 tables all together and they were named after the corresponding snowglobe. Disney Floral provided petals and votives to go around them and then some of the shorter ones were put up on glass blocks.

How were you able to use your own centerpieces? We were told having it at the LSS we have to use only disney since no one can set up prior including guests?
