Summerrluvv,
The Incredicble figures will be $4.99 all day today but I'm not sure if that was a "Friday only" price. I work at TDS and they were flying off the shelves. The additional 20% was only until 10am.

That is a Friday only price.. They will be 5.99 on Saturday I think, and 6.99 on Sunday. I think that is how it is working out the price goes up every day of the weekend I think. But they were passing out flyers for a certain percentage off on Saturday and Sunday. I know Saturday's was 20% off a single item.

Meijer....Big & Tall Men's flannel shirts....$7.49

Payless.....Girls winter boots.....I thought they were going to be $23 but it was an unmarked clearance item, so with their buy one, get one half off, I purchased a pair of winter boots for only $1.50!!!!

thanks! Of course now I'm too exhausted to go back to the mall :(

I walked into Kohl's this morning, right after the huge crowd entered. I got one of the $69 digital cameras (for my kids to share), a gameboy advance game, Scene It ($22), a nerf gun ($5) and the imessage Barbie ($16). I opened a Kohls charge and saved 10%, and then got two $10 certificates for shopping next week.

We then drove to Target, arriving about 15 minutes after they opened. My big purchase: the portable DVD player with 8 1/2 inch screen. Then I got a gingerbread making house ($7), two bouncy rubber balls ($4), a three piece rolling luggage set ($16), Mulan and Aladdin ($12 each) and an electronic dartboard $8). Then a few misc. items we needed (regular shopping).

Then, off to Walmart, buying a bunch of DVD's....basically the ones on sale for $3.88, plus some dollar DVD's. I also bought two boxes of a make your own fudge kit from Borden...I figured the kids would enjoy it, and then the chocolates my MIL likes.

After Walmart, we headed over to Michaels, but I only bought one thing with my 40% off coupon, so it ended up being $6. I'll go to Michael's tomorow, when I can use my 25% off everything (including sale items)

Then it was to Radio Shack, for a Palm Zire for dh, and some of their early bird specials: a thermal mug, the micro pen cars and a Sharp organizer for ds.

I spent alot, but I am essentially finished with my Xmas shopping. My girlfriends and I plan to head back to Kohls this evening, for some other misc items (I am looking for some jeans and a nice shirt/sweater for dd)

I love going out on Black Friday....it's a fun morning with my girlfriends. I don't know if we just lucked out, but I found it to be very manageable, with reasonable lines. We got everything we wanted.

Wow! Ours was completely out before 6:30 a.m. They had everyone waiting in lines for different items--there was a dvd player line, a GBA Line and a line for the Portable DVD. You had to pay for your purchase when you made it to the head of the line. It was impossible to purchase say the DVD player and the GBA because they were seperate lines and by the time you paid for one item and went to the end of the other line, they were out of the other item.

Gee did that make any sense?

I was very happy with my results.. Me and my DD (shes 13 and I let her go since I already have all her stuff) left around 4:45 and headed to walmart.. They are open 24 hours so we went right in.. There is a Mcdonalds inside that just opened so we picked up a quick breakfast and then headed off to get the items that I wanted that were on sale but not on the pallets around the store.. We found the 21 inch plush Care Bears which was the main thing I wanted for my little one.. They were right next to the B&W Video Nows so it was espec crowded right there.. At 6 they came over the intercom and people went crazy!! :p Thats when the Black Friday blood starts pumping!!:p :p I did get the Monkey Care Bear that I wanted and then we were off to the dvds that were on sale for $3.88.. It was hard to get near the display but I had my head down low and spotted one and had someone get it for me!!... We walked right up to the register and checked out.. My best deal other than those 2 things there was a Little Mommy.. They price matched from Target ad for $7.43 and then I had a $3 off coupon so I got her for $4.43!! Walmarts price was like $8.99 I think..

Then off to Target.. All I wanted was that Dartboard for around $8 I think it was.. Got that and we got right out.. We had 1 person in front of us in checkout..

Then off to Kohls.. I thought we wouldnt find a parking space but there were many!! We got everything on the list I wanted to get.. My daughter saw a little jacket in the ad that had Pink Panther and it had fur around the edges and it says Paws Off!! Very cute. .. We were standing in the Juniors section discussing where it would be and this man appeared to be folding shirts at the stand where they fold them and he said I think they are on that wall over there and pointed us in that direction.. so we went there and sure enough there they were!! They were at the very top and we couldnt reach them.. So I told my daughter to go ask him if he will come get it down for us.. she asked if he worked there and I said Yes!! so she comes back with him.. He was trying to figure out how to get it down.. Asked what size she wore.. He said "theres usually a rod around here" and looked behind the clothes at the bottom... couldnt find one so he used a hanger and got it down.. when he handed it to us he said "Now that I helped you you have to do a good deed for someone else!" and he laughed.. He said he was shopping there with his wife!!   I was so embarrassed... I thought he worked there and he was just another shopper!! :p :p We then stood in line to check out for 40 minutes! ugh...

Then onto the mall.. again I expected no parking space and huge crowds.. there were many spaces.. it was 8 at this time.. We went to Aeropostale and got a few things and then Hot Topic and then The Disney Store.. Boy it was crowded in there but I got some great stuff!!.. Got my nephew an Incredibles Fleece blanket.. Marked $29.50.. it was 50% off then I got the 20% off since it was still earlybird special.. Got my youngest a polly pocket type thing with Tinkerbell was $7.99 got 20% off.. Got my niece a tshirt for 8.99 that was 20% off.. Got my youngest a Beauty Barbie Doll for 7.99 and got 20% off and another for a friends daughter for the same price!! After that was Bath and Body Works and we picked up a few things!!

Headed home after that.. I went to sleep and just woke up!:p I was extremely happy with what I got.. I only lack a few more things and then done!!

Disney Store: Violet pj pals $8.99 and a Nightmare Before Christmas mug $6.15 before the 20% before 10am discount. Saved almost $17 including tax! DSil got a few mugs and the Princess tea cart but I don't know how much she spent or saved.

Suncoast and Sam Goody: picked up a few DVDs and a couple of CDs, used my 2 $5 off certificates and took advantage of the extra $4 off until noon. Don't know how much we saved but it was great to find both Pee Wee's Playhouse boxed sets (they're my DH's gift to me LOL)!

Great scarves, aren't they?

I hit the stores around 11am to shop for me  since I'm done with our Christmas shopping. If things were crazy, I wasn't gonna stick around, but the stores were pretty calm at that point :D

First stop was Express to buy a sweater for our company Christmas party. Was $58, marked down to $38 and I got the free Cashmere scarf (value $38).

Then on to Bath & Body Works. Bought an anti-bacterial soap ($5) and got a free Tutti Dolci lip gloss w/ my coupon (value $10.50)

Last stop Target! Got the Incredibles PC game for $15 (normally $30) and The Day After Tomorrow DVD for $8.88 (regularly??). Bought a pair of strappy shoes for the Christmas party ($17) and a fabric flower pin ($5) and a bottle of nail polish ($?).

No mega-bargains, but a fun afternoon of retail therapy and I got some good stuff that I needed.

and didn't leave the house until 6 AM. Luckily, I live 5 min. from a Kohl's.
Here's my take so far today:

Kohl's - Jewelry box (saved $20), golf shirt (saved $15), Disney Princess Watch (saved $3)

Modell's - Football Jersey (saved $25)

Toys R Us - Remote Control car, car racing set, (saved $20); also got some other things, but no big savings on them

JC Penney - Big Bath Towels on sale for $3.50 (reg. $7) Got 6
Also bought myself a leather jacket, on sale for $69 (reg. $219)

Foot Locker - Kids football jersey (save $15)

Got home around 11:30 AM and ate lunch. Went to the mall in the afternoon and could find nothing I wanted (or wanted to pay).

Got home from the mall and took a short nap. May go to Target and Best Buy tonight. I had such a good morning with getting all my stuff, that I want to end the day on a high night. Hopefully I can get some more stuff tonight.
I hope to be done all my Christmas shopping by next weekend.

Terri

Went to Kohls at 5:30. Had planned on going to work , but was in the store so long, took a vacation day instead.

2 Columbia hat/scarves
1 Disney Hallmark ornament
2 back massengers
6 pairs mens dress socks
3 pairs of Nike socks
1 Crock-pot
1 digital camera
1 Mooshi pillow
2 decorations for the lighted houses

after the 15% discount it came to $185.00, plus $30.00 in coupons to use next week.

At Ace Hardware bought a Santa & Snowman 6ft blow up lawn ornaments for $40.00. They are usually at least $40.00 each.

Memory card 64mb for $9.99
Lava lamp $9.99

Same exact thing happened to me! I got to Sears at 5am, drove around to the doors, no one was at them so went inside the mall and found they had formed a line at the entrance of Sears (I was third), so I stood for 45 minutes. Then a "manager" (he wasn't a manager) came out and said the 100 of us in line were standing at the wrong door and we needed to go to package pickup (where there was now 250 people in line) and we had to get at the end. I was really mad. There were no signs (only at the package pickup door, which you can't see unless you go around this corner they had). In the end I got the $10 GC because myself and the others that had been there since 5am complained, but it was definately poorly organized!

Same thing happened at my Sears. All entrances were allowing people in. I assumed they would divide the gift cards between entrances, I was wrong. The doors opened and people were all rushing around looking for the gift cards. I happend to follow the correct path of people to two men handing out the cards in the middle of the store. It was definitely not fair. People first in line did not necessarily get a card. BAsically, whoever pushed ahead the fastest got the cards. Also, I had the opportunity to take a card from one man, then get another from the other man. I didnt because I felt bad for the people not getting the cards, but I am sure others did.

Everyone was complaining.

Filenes gave out $15.00 cards. They had signs directing people to one entrance and gave the cards out at the door.

Arrived about 8:30 a.m. got everyone on my list but the computers, 499.00 after 500 instant discount. Of course they were gone by 6 a.m. Didnt need it that bad. They had the lines under control, no longer than 15 minutes from back of line to out the door. Even came back in and got something else. It seemed like less people than last year? Even the mall had up close parking spots at 10 a.m.

Sounds like you all did really good!! I stayed home this year, I thought a lot of things were the same as last years sales. I did want the aladdin and mulan dvd's for 11.99 at shopko but my little girl didn't get up until 9:30 that morning and they were gone :cloud9: anyhow that's ok I saved $24 on them lol. I really didn't go cuz of my disney trip coming up in feb. I really have to save!!!! I was really proud I spent $0 lol :cheer2: :cheer2:
Becky, Paige and Hailey

i havent done my holiday shopping yet. im waiting for them to restock. i slept til like 12pm or so on black friday.

An update on the Sears story and the gift cards. DH called the corporate headquarters and explained what happened. They are sending us a $10 card in the mail :)
Sometimes it pays to complain and hopefully, more importantly, they will have learned from this and next year make one entrance!
