Seems to be alot of us who are considering taking strollers from home. Please post your stroller recommendations and what age child you used it with. It would be so helpful to us stroller virgins!!! ;)

We always take our own stroller, a Bugaboo Frog, to the parks whenever we go. It's orange, so it's extremely easy to spot in a sea of strollers and we've never had a problem transporting it on the monorail. If you have to take your stroller on the bus, however, I would opt to just drive myself from the resort. The bus + stroller always seems to always = a hassle.

DD2, DS 3 months.

We just bought a Joovey and it is awesome. Took it to the parks in Feb. Only drawback is sleeping in it is tough.

I want to buy a MClaren when DD is old enough that she doesn't need a lift.

Maclaren Quest for my 2yo (well she'll be 2 at the end of next month)
VERY light, VERY easy to fold up!

When I took my 2 kids (both under 3 at the time), we rented. I don't remember how much it was, but we felt it was worth it to not have to fight with a stroller on the bus/monorail. That said, we are returning in 3 weeks - this time, with my daughter's girls (2 1/2 and 11 months). SO it's been over 20 years since I had to deal with this issue! We are also debating on whether to rent or bring our own. Does anyone know what the rental fees are these days?

Also, bring some ribbon or other unique item to attach - they all start to look alike!

We bought one specifically for our trip last Oct and are bringing it again in May - lightweight, reclines, easy 1 hand fold, pretty big basket, child tray, cup holder for me (actually 3, but the other 2 are REALLY small and useless)
Best part - it was about $50.00 - less than the price of renting one for the week we were there. I would be worried about leaving an $800 bugaboo stroller outside unattended.

We have the Peg Perego Pliko P3 and LOVE it.

Here is the link: http://www.pegperego.com/page.php?s...44&pageid=UJVNL001&idf=04&idp=0000000120&cl=N

We used it in November when our girls were 4 and 2 1/3. We will be using it again in 2 weeks and the girls will be 4 1/2 and 2 3/4.

It is basically a lightweight stroller (16 lbs) that has a footboard on the back for the second child to ride on. The girls took turns sitting and standing, and they can both hop on easily, even when it is in motion LOL! It folds up quite small, and has a carrying handle. We had no problems with it on the buses and it fits in the standard doors on the monorail. (Last spring we took a Combi side-by-side double and it would only go in the handicapped doors on the monorail.)

i have to agree with my2princessgirls even though i have the side by side (due to having the twins) it is a great stroller. light weight and easy to control

We love our Peg Perego P3. What I like best about it is that it folds like an umbrella sort of and doesn't take up much room. We had no problems getting it on and off the busses.

Last time we took our City Series Baby Jogger jogging stroller...this year we are looking for something lighter...am considering a MacLaren Triumph. We want to stay 12 lbs or under.

Thanks for the recs so far...

For my baby shower I got one of the big Graco combo things - HEAVY stroller. Got rid of that quickly :lmao:

For our first son, we had a Graco Metro Lite - not bad, kind of bulky, eventually the frame bent.

When our 2nd DS was born I got a Combi Twin Savvy. While I liked it initially, one of the main beams snapped (at WDW no less!). Combi did replace the stroller, but I was disillusioned.

Next I got two Maclaren Quests (singles). LOVE THEM!!! Easy to push (with heavy tall children); quick to fold up, folds compactly - just lvoe them. I wish I purchased those to begin with. We tried WDW with these two with stroller connectors and while they worked, it wasn't the ideal set up for us.

I then purchased a Maclaren Twin Traveller a SBS - truly loved that stroller!!! Light weight, easy to push/turn, folds easily - just an all-around great stoller. DS, now 6, declared while on a WDW cruise that he no longer needs a stroller (sniff sniff...my baby). Sold that on ebay.

So, now I still have two Maclarens singles - getting ready to seel one on ebay & I'll keep the 2nd one for my other DS, now 3, who still will use a stroller.

If anyone asks, I will always recommend the Macs - I trully do love them.
