So I don't know why I didn't realize this, but my MK + Epcot photo shoots are going to be finished BEFORE sunrise! That means all the pictures will be in the dark.

I originally had some ideas of shots I wanted to ask the photographer to do for daytime pics. Now I don't know what to request 'cause I need to rethink it all to be at "nighttime" lighting.

What are some of your best or favorite shots from your pre-sunrise park photo sessions? Post them if you can! Thanks everyone. :goodvibes

Oh can I also request shots from HS? I think we are doing a shoot there and I would love to see some ideas where you have had it done!

TIA!

lol Carrie, I remember seeing that shot in a thread a while ago. XD That's the one your photographer thought you were crazy for getting down on the ground right? It's practically "trash the dress" style.

Btw, do they still let you go up in the castle to take pics from the balcony in the dark? Or am I totally making things up and remembering this idea from some wacky dream I had?

Yes! The balcony shot at the back of the castle still seems to be a standard.

One you might try to get is a shot from the bridge to Liberty Square looking back at the castle just before dawn. the light starts to change behind you, and it looks quite pretty.

Also, any shots on Main Street look amazing in the dark because of all the lights.

ours was rescheduled from 6 to 5..here's a few but not neccessarily favs...

As far a lighting goes - which time slot is better? The 5 or 6?

I guess it just depends on what kind of pictures you want. I believe the 5am you mostly get night shots and possibly a few daylights. We had the 6am and have 3 night pictures and the rest are daylight. I thought that I wouldn't like the day shots, but I actual ended up liking them better. HTH!

There's also a 5:30am slot if the park opens early and its the only one of the day. I ended up getting that, but not sure how many 'day' shots I'll get because Sunrise is it 6:45am that day

Yes - you should select the 5 or 6 am slot based on sunrise time on your date and whether you want darker or lighter pix. When you talk to Disney Photographic to book, they can tell the sunrise time. :thumbsup2

I had the 5:30am photo shoot. What was kinda nice was our photographer spent a little extra time with us, because no one else was lined up for a session.

I had mine in December, and it was about 50/50 with day time and night time pics.

Question about the MK photoshoot...on what day did you actually do the shoot? Day of the wedding, before, after...?

We did ours 2 days after the wedding. DH didn't want to see me before the wedding, and we had an evening wedding that went somewhat late. It was nice to have a quiet evening before the early wake up call.

Yes, that's why I asked. My DBF doesn't want to see me before the wedding either.

We did 2 days after too!

There is no way I would have done it the day of or the day after the wedding - as it is, I was so tired from getting up early the day we did it, I fell asleep on about 5 rides! :faint:

we actually didn't book ours till about a month after our wedding will take place --- I am getting married 12/06/08 and since they are filming the Christmas parade during that time we can not get in to do the photoshoot -- so since we have up to a year after the wedding to do the shoot -- we decided since my birthday is mid-January we would take that Saturday and do the photoshoot...

It is actually works out nice -- cause I get to feel like a pretty princess again..

HTH :cool1:

This is great to know, Thanks! My shoot is September 3rd next year and I requested Ty. Anyone else had him?
