Did a combo of online and phone (had to phone the party of 11 ones)....

Here's what we wanted vs what we got: pretty much everything went well except NOTHING for Ohana avail on the 27th (at least for 11 people ). Sept 26 - Boma (4) 5-6ish GOT 4:50
Sept 27 - Ohana (11) 5-6ish (the scariest one!) GOT Crystal Palace (11) 7:00
Sept 28 - Raglan Road (11) 6:30ish GOT 6:15
Sept 29 - Le Cellier (9) anytime dinner first choice, lunch 2nd (scary too!) GOT 12:15
Sept 30 - Boma (6) 10:30 ish GOT 10:35
- Chef Mickey's (4) 6ish GOT 6:20
Oct 1 - CRT (9) anytime breakfast or lunch (fingers crossed since it's late in the week) GOT 12:55
Oct 2 - Tepan Edo (11) 5-6ish GOT 6:30

We'll see what we can do about switching to Ohana on the 27th over the next few weeks. If not, we're totally okay with our second choice

OH NO!!! I can call on Monday and my group of 11 wants 'Ohana for that night!
Maybe someone will cancel by Monday @ 7am

I'm totally doin' the happy dance. I have been trying for weeks now to get Teppen Edo between 6 -7pm. Today......SCORE. I had a discussion with my DD about how to work it out for lunch.....we figured something and then I went online to see what was open. I decided to check again for dinner and BANG, there it was for 6:10pm.

So, as of now I have every single ADR that I was wanting and all at times within 10-20 minutes of my 'wish' time.

Gotta give this guy to someone....

I'm really cutting back on ADR's this year - we're going to see how it goes (and try to spend less money by eating at places that don't need ADRs). With that said, I do have 3 ressies:

9/14 - Lunch With an Imagineer
9/15 - Trail's End (10:10) (before our Segway adventure at 11:30)
9/16 - Fresh for breakfast (8:45)

No dinners, no lunches. Could be we starve, or could be we find out we don't need so much food - last trip I ended up cancelling a couple of sit-downs because the meals are so big it just became too much as the trip progressed. We were still full from a meal the day before when we were supposed to go to another nice dinner - finally cancelled a bunch and ate pizza slices from Spoodles instead!

When I called around June 11 to make our ADR's everything we wanted at our times were available. It seems that there might be some big event coming to DW. A co-worker of mine is going Sept 21 for 10 days and had a heck of a time getting the ADR's that her family wanted.

I think I'm one of the three or four people that doesn't have free dining (the 40% code saved us much more $$)
I got online Monday the 22nd at 5AM (Central) and got most of what I wanted...
9/20 - Kona Cafe 6:30 PM
9/21 - H&V play and dine 10:15, Sci Fi - 3:10 - wanted sci fi at 5, I'm worried about these two being too close, but we plan on just getting onion rings and splitting a burger and shake, so it's not too much food anyway
9/22 - nothing (MNSSHP night)
9/23 - Akershus lunch 12:10
9/24 - nothing
9/25 - 7:45 Ohana Breakfast

I really wanted Ohana on the 20th, 22nd, or 24th, but nothing. I saw a 9:20 for Ohana on 22nd, but that wouldn't work. I had thought about doing the CRT, and wanted the first lunch setting but all I could get was the last one...I probably should have taken it but I was unsure. My dd is only 2, and I want her to be old enough to remember dining in the castle, and I thought 2:30 lunch might be a recipe for a meltdown. Oh well. I've heard Akershus is a little more relaxed and hey it just gives us a reason to go again right?

I could only get a lunch ADR for Le Cellier on the day I wanted, but that will actually work well for us. I will be checking back from time to time to see if an early dinner opens up, though. I'm just happy I got it at all, really!

I got everything I wanted except Le Celier (switched to Teppan Edo). I wasn't banking on it, so wasn't too disappointed. Had to switch days for 'Ohana, but I think it still works out. I couldn't get Chef Mickey's or 'Ohana for dinner on 9/27. I will be there 9/26-10/3, but my first ADR isn't until 9/28.

So the only things we have that are more than 15-20 minutes away from our requested time are:

Hollywood & Vine on our arrival date, but since this was our first day, and it is a Fantasmic day, I'll take what I can get.

BBB on the second day, not a huge deal, only 30 minutes earlier than we wanted and will work perfect to be done prior to our CRT breakfast.

Princess Storybook Breakfast, it is 35 minutes earlier, but not a huge deal at all, and I may check back 90 days out on that one and try to change it a little.

'Ohana Breakfast, only 25 minutes early, which is not a big deal and will get us over to Epcot a little earlier that day.

The only other issue right now, and it is a minor one, is that our Tusker House breakfast has our party of 7 at 2 different tables. Should not be too much trouble though, and again I may try at 90 days out on that one and see what I can get.

This is all really turning out to be good.
