Post what you got here using Sept AP Rate

I called and received the WL Woods view for $121/night +tax. My 4 night stay there is $540 with tax. I saved $49 on this res.

My Stay at Pop Century was quoted at $54.50/night with tax, so i assume its $49/night pre-tax. We have 2 rooms booked for only 1 night for a total of $109. I save $14 on this res.

Total savings today is $63 with the AP sept Rate.

I wanted to see about getting a Courtyard View at WL and was told that there was not any with the AP rate. Did anyone else get one for it? Or did you have to be booked for it first then switch it to the new rate??

again, nothing available for the room we were able to book with AZZ rate: (Standard view wing CR) for mid-september. offered us a garden view but again that would be a price hike we don't want for this last minute trip.

she told me that even if they would have had it, it would only have been about a 5 dollar per night difference: and since my ressie is booked through special needs/request CRO can't even alter it, they have to have special needs do it and i don't want them to mess with it LOL.

hopefully everyone else is fareing better than i did!

POR 9/17-9/22 $79+ per night down from $85 per night. The difference will buy me $34 worth of Dole Whips.

saved an addtional $12.00 per night off the AZZ rate, new rate is now $944 for 7 nights at the WL ($134.00 pernight with tax, woods view). Now I can purchase my La Nouba ticket ($77.75 - 25% AP rate 58.) Yes I am very happy.

Got poly garden view for $209 which is $10 less than AZZ.
Got WL standard for $109. They did not have any standard for AZZwhen I called. We changed form POFQ to WL standard as WL is my favorite hotel.

We had our honeymoon planned, until the rates came out today. We had planned 5 nights at GF LV (AZZ - $320/night + tax) and 5 nights at YC WV Concierge (AAA rate - $477/night + tax). We had orginally thought about GF RPC, but decieded against it.

Now, with the AP rates, we have 2 nights at GF LV (AZZ - $320/night + tax), 4 nights at Poly LV Conc. (EWK - $380/night + tax) and 4 nights at YC WV Conc. (AAA rate - $477/night + tax).

Since the YC stay starts 10/3....

Bring on the Oct AP rates!!!!!

I've got a Tower room at the Contemporary with the AZZ rate, but they only had wing rooms and suites with the AP rates.

Oh well...I guess I'll keep trying!

Got courtyard view at WL this morning with ap for 137 a night! I had a standard room and she said that wasn't availablee ( it was 7:05 this morning) Now I am confused if others got it for 109 which is what i was expecting. I think I'm gonna call back.

I switched from the $85 rate at POFQ to $79 (we have two rooms). I was not counting on it since it's Labor Day weekend, but there seemd to be lots of availabiltiy ...

They probably only have a limited number of standards for AP use. We got WL standard for the $109 a night, and DH called at 7:00am today.

Keep the courtyard and try calling again a few days before you go. Maybe cancellations or ressie changes will open up the WL standards again for you.

I got AKL standard view from Sept27-Oct 3 for $109/night. It was a $10 discount from the code AZZ.

Started with 5 nights at POP with AAA rate of $61.60 per night....paid in full!

Then...switched to 6 nights at POP with AZZ code for $55 per night...now owe $25 for additional night!

Finally....still 6 nights at POP with FL res code of $49 per night....now have a $15 credit!! That pays for a breakfast one day!

Besides all this, we were able to book a Wishes fireworks cruise less than 90 days out departing from the Grand Floridian. Boy am I lucky!!

i just called back to see if the WL courtyard view was avail since i saw a post here that someone got it, and was told there are none. she said that only so many are allotted, and if i happen to call back, maybe there will be a cancellation and then i can get it. guess i have to keep calling back again now.

Thanks to Penny at DU I saved $110 without even lifting a finger ! I got home with an e-mail ! Our 9/10 - 9/15 WL woods view went from $132 to $121 & out AKL pool view 9/15 - 9/19 went from $132 to to $121

When we first booked 10 nights at WDW we were paying $1,482.29; then we changed to AAA rate, then to the AZZ rate and now to the AP rate saving us an overall total of $601.39 for 7 nights at CBR and 3 nights at CSR

Don't you think that one reason it wasn't available is that you already had it? Others have posted on this theory, but it seems that many don't believe it. I think that almost any time that AP discounts are offered, you'd be able to get something at rack rate up until the day of arrival. I don't understand the reason anyone would make a reservation at rack far in advance when they expect AP discounts to come out. Granted, CRO isn't going to base any discount on anybody's one reservation,but I think you've got to believe that collectively, rooms reserved with the intention of "just holding" them until a discount comes out will effect the number of discounted rooms offered.
We are going in November, got air when we could from Southwest, and will either get a Poly GVC when AP discounts are available or will get something else if there's no discount.
If I HAD to stay at a particular resort I guess I would make a reservation at rack, but I'd know that it would reduce the chance of those rooms being offered a discount for my dates.

We are so happy that after the disapointment of cancelling our original reservation, we just found out today we can go Labor Day weekend after all .

Since we are comming in early in the morning on Sept 4 and leaving late in the day on Sept 6, we decided to stay at CBR. We were able to use the AP rate for $88 w/tax for a standard room.

Already had the AZZ code reservation for Pop Century at $55 per night. Just called for the EWK code and CM said it was EWJ for FL resident. He comes back and says no room at that code and I said can you try EWK. He said that won't work. He is also trying to make it a whole new reservation. I tell him can't you just modify the existing reservation and give us the $49 per night for the AP rate. I also say are you telling me that all Pop discounted rooms are gone. Did you have only 3 out of 800 discounted. This just started yesterday. He puts me on hold and comes back and says we modified the existing reservation and your rate is now the $49 rate. Persistence pays off this time.

Total savings for 3 nights of $26.69. Lunch for the 4 of us.
