You are so lucky! My mom won't get me an agent, or get me headshots or anything! And our school drama program is HORRIBLE. And there are no good community theatres. The one that I am starting at is 45 minutes away! My area only cares about sports. And they aren't even that good.Omigosh!! I did that too, when I first got my agent. It was awesome. Are you looking for a agent? Or just doing it for fun. I did it, because I wanted to start getting into commercials and such. And it worked!!! AN agency picked me up and now I've had A LOT of auditions...and even been casted for a few things.
I wish that we had a drama program down here..but we have NOTHING til High School. That'swhy I started doing filmwork in the first place. Because...I eat, sleep, and breathe drama...and we don't have anything!! I finally found a community theater though. ANd I've been in quite a few plays with them.
Is anybody else online??![]()
soo...how is everybody?
I havent been getting on a lot lately, because I've been so busy. But...I miss y'all to death. I feel like I miss so much when I'm gone.
All of y'all regualrs have these super close relationships and such, but then I come on...and feel so out of place. I mean...as far as the TB goes, this is where I fit in most. But I feel so out of it... I hope that I don't annoy y'all by butting into your conversations. I've always been a knowsy person.![]()

I have never even considered acting as a career for me. I am a good actress, but it was never something I aspired to. My career choice timeline went something like this...
1. Figure Skater/Gymnist
2. Equestrian (I do it for fun now.)
3. Veteranarian (This was for a good 6 years)
4. Lawyer
5. Doctor
6. Lawyer
7. Engineer
8. Nasa Scientist
9. Engineer/Lawyer/Research Scientist

Anyway, have you been any commercials or anything yet?
Was any of that stuff recent?Yeah...I was in a few Academy (sports and outdoors) catalogs and newspaper ads. I did a JC Penny commercial and a Palais ROyal commercial. And my church has a TV channel and I am a regular on that. But that cant be viewed by a lot of people...only if you llive in Texas.
Cereal is really good.Hi I love cereal.
Erin??!! Are you okay? You seem a little...oh geez, I don't know:
CRAZY!

But what my mom thinks that I want to be famous right away, and that I want to be on screen by next week. I've told her multiple times that I'm not like that. I just want to be in a few commercials here and there and then get more serious when I'm older. But she doesn't understand.
Maybe I'll send you a video of me doing a monologue or something. You know, for some advice/constructive criticism.Yes. It has all been since February. But, it's not always like that. Some people wait years for a commercial...some wait a few eeks. I just happened to try out for the perfect castings. I have a very athletic and competitive look, so I've had A LOT of auditions for sporting places. My next step is voice-over animation. I'm so totally trying for Disney or Hasbro! My Little Pony and DIsney Classics...here I come!!
haha...jk. It'll probably never work, but you gotta start somewhere!
I totally understand you AND your mom's point of view. My mom was the same way, but she saw my love and skill in acting. Not trying to toot my own horn or anyhting. But it's the truth.I'm sure that you would do great in the film and commercial industry, so I say...if your mom ever gives you the chance...go for it!
If you ever have any questions about filmwork, commercials, or modeling, and how they work, just as a way. I'll try my best to help.
