I think that it first started airing in 2008? If it was made 5 years earlier, I might be doing History related courses instead of Geography related courses. Then again, I would read the books during lunch, and that didn't affect my course. The books were awesome though.

I'm taking Environmental Hazards & Disaster Management at university, so I get to find out about earthquakes, and volcanoes, and hurricanes, and so on, and how to protect and minimize the damage from them. And I find it all very interesting. I prefer the human side of it to the physical side of it. Well, it depends on the area. I spent my first semester learning about soil types, which was as thrilling as you'd imagine it to be.

If I had a sonic screwdriver, it would do wood. It's weakness would be gelatin. The wibbliness of the jelly would counteract the wobbliness of the screwdriver, and render it useless. Yes, that's plausible.
