Post something positive about a DVC resort at which you don't own

OKW is my home resort.

BWV-love then for the proximity to the BW and all it has to offer, and for the proximity to Epcot and MGM.That area is the best location, IMHO.

BCV-haven't stayed there yet, but will be in October. "Nosed around" in January, and I love the look of them from the outside, and again, love them for the same reasons as the BWV.

VWL-love the serenity of that area, the ability to boat to the MK(I just LOVE boating at WDW!!!), and the fact that you can see the Electric Water Pageant from the beach and geyser area.

Haven't been to HH or VB, so I can't comment on those.

We own at OKW and love the laid back atmosphere and size of the units there.

But we also love Hilton Head - it's such a quiet location - but so close to the beach and all the action!

We love BWV for the entertainment and proximity to Epcot and MGM - and jogging around the loop to BC/YC, Dophin, Swan (and now add up to MGM!) is just great!

Haven't stayed at WL yet, but the look really nice.

I LOVE THE VARIETY and I LOVE BEING A MEMBER OF THE VACATION CLUB!

BWV is our home resort with an add on at BCV.

We stayed at Hilton Head before we were members and I just loved Shadow's foot prints thru out the property! :)

We have stayed at the BWV 3 times now :bounce: and there are so many things to LOVE!! First, my fav thing is the decor. I just love how they are decorated. Also, the great views. We have had boardwalk view all 3 times and getting up early and having my breakfast on the balcony is WONDERFUL. We have seen hot air ballons flying over cresent lake from EPCOT tward the Swan/Dolphin and it makes the view even more spectacular. It is so peaceful early in the am while the lake is still calm. :)
I also love the 4 star hotel feel of BWV. Love Valet parking, having the TONS of luggage I always bring just delivered to the room :D
The proximity to MGM and Epcot is also a major plus!
We were huge Jellyrolls fans before becoming members, so now it is a great thing that I only have to stumble back to the room, instead of the car, then room! (don't worry, my husband does not drink and always drives!)

BCV: Stormalong Bay pool, the best pool at the "World" and Beaches and Cream are the 2 I can comment on since we cannot stay here yet!

The 1 and 2 bedroom units at OKW can't be beat. It's like renting an apartment. If you want a relaxing vaction with lots of living space choose OKW.

VWL is #1 in themeing IMHO. I love the room decor and the feel of the lodge. Great boat transport to MK.

BWV is great if you want to be in the middle of all the action. A favorite with my 2 teens you can't beat it for proximity to the parks.

I don't own at OKW but will be returning there in May for my third stay.I love the peacefulness and sense of community at this resort. The accommodations are the most spacious and I love the proximity to DTD.Our next add-on will definitely be at OKW via resale.

We own at VWL, but we have stayed at OKW. We loved the spaciousness of the living room/kitchen combo, the screened porch with the paddle fan, the GOLF COURSE just outside the door and the close parking. We also loved the boat to DTD.

We'll be at BWV and HH this May/June with hopefully the BCV in October. That should round them all out. I can't wait to sample!

Hi.

We're members at the VWL.

We just got back today from an eight-day stay at Old Key West. I loved the landscaping. Flowers everywhere, beautiful palm trees, etc. It was so relaxing. It felt like a community. Everyone we met there was friendly and nice.

We own at BWV.
Last October, we took a last minute trip (no availability at BWV) so we stayed at OKW for the first time. We found many things to like. We rented a car (we usually don't) and liked being able to park right near our villa. There was more of a community feel to the resort and it was easy to meet and talk to other members. We took the busses when we went to the parks, and rarely waited more than 10 minutes. We enjoyed watching the golfers in the morning.
We would definitely stay there again.

.............but I have to comment on VWL at Christmas time.

The tree in the middle of the circular lobby is (at least IMHO) the nicest in all of WDW. Especially the view looking down from the fifth or six floor. Bring your camera, it's a great pic!
