I noticed they took the steak off the Cap N Jacks menu and the veal osso buco off of Mama Melroses menu. It keeps getting worse at these restaurants.

Yeah probably, which kinda burns me because they started removing stuff a few weeks ago, and I am going tomorrow, and paying for my DDP.

No ... I look for a slow decline im menus for next 2008 year starting now.
It is just another way to boost profits

Take Spoodles and France for example where last year I had steak during free dining. It never retuned to the menu. Soon they can eliminate more meat choices with the closing of the Concorse Steak House.
Seems there is no end to the downgrade of menus

That has been on the menu since at least last April when I started researching and making ADRs. A thread a month or so back mentioned that very few people actually had been charged the fee - were you? I wouldn't be surprised if they started enforcing it! That and the extra steak fees on other restaurants' kid menus.

I've been seeing these menu changes lately. I only hope that they finalize these changes before November 17th.. That is the date that I must choose to go with the DDP or not. (45 days out for the payoff of my trip)

I am saving just under $80 from what I will eat over what I'd eat off the plan based of the unchanged menus. If the menus continue to change and this dollar amount drops to below equal, I'll certainly drop the plan.

Someone posted in the WPC menu change thread that the wienerschnitzel is gone from there also.

Now for Spoodles, I am seeing "steak" on the DIS menu page although it is steak "kebabs" for $23 as opposed to what was previously a $29 NY strip steak (IIRC) so you can bet the amount and/or quality of meat has been reduced significantly. This change prompted me to swtich our Sept. Spoodles ADR to Maya Grill (but the menus for MG both here and on Allears are pretty outdated - wonder what changes we'll find?)
