Post pics of your bag you carry into park

It took me nearly 3 days to read through this entire thread! lol Thanks for all of the reviews and suggestions. Very helpful!

I drove all over my area yesterday to two different TJMaxx, Marshalls, and a place this is supposedly a Baggalini carrier (I didn't see a single bag in the store-so annoying!). I saw several Travelons. Marshalls had several of the Sporty Messenger in navy and plum (looked more like grape to me). I almost bought the plum, but changed my mind at the last minute. Those were $16.99. I saw several of the regular messenger style at all of the stores. I can't remember how much those were. Sadly, none of them had any Baggalinis. I came home and I finally settled on the ebags Piazza, but I think I might order a Baggalini for our stroller bag. I have to think about it some more. Anyway, just wanted to share that ebags is selling the Piazza on ebay for $19.99 and free shipping. The only catch is that it is the Chili color. We'll see how I like it once it arrives!

If you sign up at the ebags web site, you might get coupons - they frequently have 20 percent off (some brands are excluded). And if you want to see some in person, do you have a Container Store near you? I always see Baggalini bags there (more than one type).

ETA: I just checked, and I thought that Container Stores were more rampant than they apparently are. There probably isn't one near you! (There are a bunch in my area, but then the HQ is here, too!)

I got my Piazza bag yesterday. The color is great, but I was surprised at how small it is. I don't know what I was expecting, but I thought it would be bigger. It's really not much bigger than my VB Hipster (old style), although I think it can hold a lot more since there are so many pockets. I'm going to try to pack it today and see how it goes. I will definitely need another bag for dipes/wipes, extra shirts, snacks, and who knows what else.

Thanks for the Baggalini tip! Not sure if we have a Container Store here or not.

I use this one. It has tons of outside pockets for carrying stuff. The big black straps, that are made to carry skateboards, are great at holding bulky items. Its color and odd shape make it easy to pick out of a crowd.

9/10 times,I don't bring it!

I carried the Flora Minor Bag from sherpani at WDW last month. It was awesome. It was large enough to carry all of our necessities: water bottle, snacks, wallet, camera etc. but it never felt too heavy. The crossbody style was nice because it was very easy to get into and out of quickly.

Thank you so much for posting the link to your bag! I love it! I have been following this thread for a while just never sure that I was seeing the one I liked until today. That bag is so cute and looks so roomy but still compact. Now just to decide between cactus or teal. Which color did you get?

I was just about to purchase a Baggallini Messanger for my upcoming trip until I realized it sits on the back. Anyone have issues with people stealing out of it? Ive had an Overland bag for quite a few trips, but now that I need to carry a few extra items with a baby im looking for something just a bit bigger and the Baggallini Messanger looks like it would do the trick...just worried about not being able to watch it.

Thanks!

I didn't have any issues but then again I don't think I was ever in a situation I would have had to worry about it. There's an inside zipper pocket that you could put your money and cards in and there's a pocket across the flat back of it that would lay against the flat of your back that a thief would have an extremely hard time getting into. It's also really really easy to swing around to the front when you're standing somewhere like on a bus.

I loved the bag for our last Disney trip. I had the Overland Donner bag for our first trip and likes it but the Baggalinni was hands down the better pick for me. I don't use it for everyday in the winter because it is a crossbody bag but it's reading and waiting for my next trip!

Love this bag!

Another thing to keep in mind with it is that you will have to remove it every time you sit down. I ended up just going with a different cross body messenger, because I didn't want to have to remove my bag every time I got on a ride.

It was an easy bag (Bagallini Messenger) to keep everything safe- we kept our debit card in the back pocket, the one that goes against your back. So it would be basically impossible for someone to get into it without you feeling it. The park tickets were kept in the zip-up pouch on the strap. Very easy to get to fast passes and our park tickets that way. This last trip we tried to save lots of money by bringing in our water and carrying snacks in our bag. The only problem was that it was very heavy until we ate and drank down these items (two water bottles, baggie of trail mix, etc), so it wasn't the most comfortable bag- especially for my youngest. :) I think the next trip we will bring our water, but keep it in the lockers and grab some throughout the day. The rest we will buy. I know fanny packs aren't fashionable, but after six days of carrying those bags, all I could think about was how jealous I was of those that were carrying very little and no straps over their shoulders or digging into their necks! :) If you can keep your items to a minimum, then it probably would work great. As for me, I plan on finding the most fashionable fanny pack I can get- lol. :lmao:

My Sherpani came yesterday and I am thrilled with it. I think this bag will be perfect for the parks and lots of other places. I'm also happy to say I bought it from ebags for 20% off plus free shipping.

I love that bag

I think it was on this thread that I read about a couple using camelbaks. Well, in preparation for my trip this year I bought a Camelbak LUXE. It fits all my stuff and keeps my water handy. Going to take it out on a hike soon to see how it works.

I'm thinking drawstring bag for non-valuable essentials (water, wipes, etc.) and fanny pack (belly bag?) for important items. I wore a backpack in Mexico City and almost got pick-pocketed! What do you think?

I just ordered the Baggallini Messenger in Espresso (something not so girlie in case DH needs to carry it). I really liked the idea of the back-side pocket as well as the pocket in the strap.

Thanks to everyone that has suggested this bag...hope I love it as much as you have!

Me, too! I was super torn between the mushroom and the espresso. The same exact bag in a lighter brown than the espresso(mushroom) was $29.96 and the espresso was $39.96. I caved to fashion just for the color. Ugh! How many dole whips could $10 buy me? LOL I hope I love this bag. :lovestruc

What bag do you guys recommend if you are carrying a small camcorder and a bridge camera (size of small dslr)? I would still have cell phone, snacks, small things to keep kids entertained in lines, etc. in the bag too. We will have a stroller so it would be nice to be able to hang it on back of stroller so we dont have to carry it the whole time.

Don't know about the right bag, but suggest using carribeaners to hold the bag on your stroller. They are also handy to hold popcorn buckets and souvinier bags. Then you just have to unhook the carribeaner from the stroller and take with you on rides/to eat - rather than try to gather everything.

wow, SO much information in this thread! I have narrowed it down to possibly the Piazza day bag, but had some questions:
~Is it waterproof?
~How long does the strap go? I'm 5'8, DH is 6'2, ideally I'd like a bag that we can both wear over one shoulder or cross-body. I know DH may have to sling it over one shoulder, but I want to make sure the straps are long enough for me; I like bags to sit a little lower on my hip. I know it says 48", but what does your experience say?
~(random, I know) Has anyone tried dying the nylon? I'm thinking of dying a Sandstone bag to a muted blue or green.
~Is the nylon easily washable/cleanable if it does get splashed with something?
