Post pics of your bag you carry into park

The Baggallini Around Town Bagg I ordered arrived today. It's the perfect size. I plan on getting another 9 inch Vinylmation Mickey to get autographs on and it will fit in the main section (tried my Mickey from last years trip). There is a front compartment where I can carry my Sharpies. Two end zip compartments, 1 for my Canon Elph camera, the other for my Droid phone. There is also a back zipper pocket for misc. It also has a zipped change-sized bag attached in the main compartment which will be perfect for tickets and cash.
I got it from ebags.com in Olive green. Love it!

Mine is actually a toddler's backpack! It is perfect for me and very adjustable. Every single strap can adjust and they're padded.

It has plenty of pockets and to give you an idea of the size the pocket can hold a quart sized water bottle. I also love that it's pink :lovestruc

I have 2 Baggalinis and 2 Overland bags and I MUCH prefer this one.

BTW, I am 5'10" and pooh sized. :goodvibes

Ok, so I LOVE Baggallini!! I actually have 2 different convertible purse/backpacks, but they are kind of a pain to get into & out of. My question is, is it suitable as a cross-body bag? It is much more attractive than the overland donner I was looking at & looks to be similar dimensions. The Baggallini would be better, imo, because it's not as deep. However, I do need it to fit my DSLR!

I bought this bag a couple of months ago to test it out for our trip to WDW http://www.ebags.com/product/baggal...m=brussels bagg - crinkle nylon gold hardware
It's pretty cool because it switches from a shoulder bag to a back pack to a messenger style cross body bag. So far so good, there is a lot of space inside for cards, wallet, kids snacks etc. but no separate pocket for a water bottle. It is pretty nice looking, functional bag.
Has anyone used this bag at Disney? I think it will be good for a few days but I may switch to the VB mail bag for the rest of the time.

Ok this was the last Baggallini that I got. I actually got it because I wanted a red bag. :thumbsup2 (The other one I had was lime green. Which I love, but wanted something different.)
Anyway, I carried it for a long weekend in San Antonio. We stayed in downtown & didn't have a car. We probably walked 20 miles? At least! It was great! Except when I needed something. You really have to take it off to get into it when wearing it as a backpack, but I could carry everything, including my big camera & 2 water bottles. It did get a little heavy with all that in it, at which point DH put it on.
I actually carry it as my everyday purse, but I tend to put too much in it. :rotfl:
I never have tried it as a cross-body bag... maybe I don't need another one? Off to check...

I just went to ebags to compare dimensions with the other bags I was considering & the price is up probably $30 since I got mine last fall! :scared1:
I did try it cross body... :thumbsup2 I think I'll try carrying it around town like this for a while & see how it goes...

It wears well on me (I'm 5 ft. 6 in. tall). The top of the bag hits around my hip. It has a 52" adjustable shoulder strap. I believe I saw on one of the sites that it was advertised as a cross-body bag. In looking ebags has their dummy wearing it cross-body.

Since I have been using it as an everyday bag, I completely agree with this. With other everyday bags I rarely have to clean out my bag, but if I don't keep up with the Brussells Bagg I put way too much in and don't take enough out daily.

Although I do love carrying it as a shoulder/back pack, I think for Disney I will wear this bag as a cross body to make it easier to get stuff in & out of. I am hoping to lose a few lbs before I test it out as a crossbody because I am afraid that a crossbody bag will accentuate my girth :magnify:

I've been looking at the Brussels bag, too, and was wondering how heavy it would get. I do not carry water bottles in my bags since they just get too heavy, so I wouldn't have that load. I do carry a DSLR, but normally have that on a shoulder strap ready to use unless it starts raining.

I used the Baggallini messenger bag in December and never plan to use it again. It kept swinging around to the front or the adjustable strap kept lengthening on it's own and by the time it lengthened itself, it was really low on my back. It was really incomfortable!

Wish I could figure  out a way to carry.....nothing....LOL!! :sad2:

:lmao: Um, yeah. A bit pooh-sized here, too. (That just sounds so much better than overweight! ;) ) I figure I'll look like an idiot any way I go, so it probably doesn't matter!

The good thing about the Brussels bag is that the straps lengthen/shorten with a buckle & very solid grommets. :thumbsup2 Also, I just pulled my big Bible & 2 study guides out of my tote & put them in it today & tried carrying it around cross-body. Not comfortable. I imagine that much weight in anything would be too much! I'm going to have to pack it like a park bag & try it, I guess. It may need some cushioning on the strap, too. I'm sure that would look FABULOUS! :rotfl:

Shortly before I read this, I took the shoulder pads off my daughters old car seat for just this purpose. They are a bit smaller than the infant ones you can buy in a store, but I am sure they will look great!:thumbsup2

You can now add me to the list of Baggallini Messenger Sling owners. I feel like I'm a member of a private club. We should all wave at each other or something when we're at Disney!

Thanks again to those who posted about the great deal on this bag at bagsbuy.com. It was about $20 cheaper there than at ebags.

If anyone is interested in a smaller baggallini...

I had been looking for a small purse that I could wear cross body. I wasn't having much luck until I was at my local AAA renewing today. I spotted the perfect purse, it was a baggalinni "bon voyage", model number BBV #33. It was priced "MSRP: 44.95, Membership price $29.99. I got this one. There was also a baggallline "wallet" (a bit smaller, but not too much so), it looks very much like model number WBL151C. That bag was also around the $40 range, and was a membership price of $23.00.
Both of these bags are on bagsbuy for close to the MSRP. Even with a $10 discount, the AAA has a better price. And, you get to try it on first.

Since I was looking for a smaller bag it never occurred to me to notice if they had any larger ones, so they might.

Just some info I thought I'd share.

That's good to know about AAA, Anc96. Thanks for posting that. I do love both of the bags you mentioned. I have seen them or similar Baggallini styles at Marshalls occasionally in the $20-30 range, so that's another place to check.

I got this bag for my Mom at Goodwill for 3.99!! and I LOVE IT. She is going to Disney World in May and I got it for her for mothers day but I love it so much I am almost tempted to keep it. ;) :rotfl:

What a find!!! I'd be hard pressed to part with it too! It looks almost new...is there a manufacturer's tag on it anywhere that might give us fanatics a clue as to who makes it? :thumbsup2

About a month ago I picked up a Baggallini Uptown at TJ Maxx for $19.95 :) (gotta luv TJ Maxx) I've been testing it out and think that this will be my new favorite Disney bag. I'll let you know after my upcomming trip. I'm 5'8" and sometimes the drop on the crossbody bags are not long enough for me. This bag is great, I can let it hang low and it doesn't make me look so bulky....and let me tell you I don't need extra bulk.

I have the Baggallini City Bagg, which is another crossbody very similar to the Uptown Bagg. I love it! I have used it on several outings and while sight-seeing. I considered using it for our upcoming Disney trip, but I ended up purchasing the Baggallini messenger sling instead since it has a side holder for a water bottle. We are going in June, so I want to have my water handy at all times!

My baggallini Sydney bagg was PERFECT!!! I loved it and it was comfortable and just the right size for me. It's my new favorite bag! I'm taking it to Vegas this weekend!
