post offices at Western ports

I collect postcards from places I've been to, and usually send them back from the locations. So I'd get a little souvenior from each place. A neat little collection!

Anyways...

1) does anyone out there know where the post offices are at the western ports? (Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel)

2) And addresses for them,

3) and if they're in walking distance from where the ship docks?

4) On Castaway Cay, there is a post office on the island, right?

5) Oh, and do they take USD or their own $. I know Key West use USD, but what about the other ports?


Just trying to square away all the little details I have before the trip! And believe me, I've got tons!!!! Thank you for any info you have!

In Key West, you have a main post office in the 500 block of Whitehead Street, but there is a drop box right at Mallory Square - In cape Canaveral, you have one right in front of the Radisson - anywhere else, sorry I can't help, but wish I could - I am sure you will have more imput.

Am pretty sure we went to a Post Office in Grand Cayman - and it was shut! Also, there is a post office at Castaway Cay - but we posted loads of cards there almost 2 weeks' ago, and NONE have arrived yet! Thought it was just UK Post that was so slow! Nat

I know the post office in Cozumel is near the dock..that is the day I forgot to mail postcards..lol. Ask in any of the little trinket shops,
someone will be able to give you directions..everything is within easy walking distance. Otherwise, some of the shops themselves may sell the stamps and can direct you to mailbox.

In grand cayman..I got the stamps and mailed the postcards from the gift shop at the turtle farm. The ladies were very nice. mail box is right out front.
