Hello,
I purchased one of these at the PO yesterday in preparation for my holiday and have since read reviews of these cards being refused/blocked and it has mostly awful reviews :( since 90% of my money will be on this, can someone put my mind at ease? I've already shelled out £50 on it.

I don't have any experience with travel cards but one problem I've read about is that a refund takes a very long time to go through. I think someone had a big transaction charged twice in error and the delay in the refund messed them up. However this is obviously a rare incidence and could just as easily have caused them a problem on a credit card if they were close to their limit.

I'm toying with getting one of these travel cards for my holiday. I normally use fee free cards but don't like having all my eggs in one basket so was wondering about a travel card as an alternative to travellers cheques. Can I ask why you chose this card over the Fairfx one?

I went with post office, as its a 'known brand' they also don't charge you for the card or charge you for loading it. I,m sure it'll be ok. Just me worrying.
