Post office tracking ? Ebay

Anyone know anything that can help me ...

I sent am item parcel post with insurance. The item still hasn't arrive and the customer is asking for the tracking #. Am I right to say that I do not have one ? I only have an insurance #. Is there any way to track this ??? It was sent on Oct 12 from Boston to OH ..

I always send everything with a delivery confirmation number. Even if it is something small, I always use that option.

'm believe you don't get a tracking number with insurance only. Why don't you try putting that number in at usps.com and see if it works. It can't hurt. Anyway, at least you are covered with the insurance.

If the item was for more than $50 the form you used will have a number, and that is your tracking number. However, for future use, if you send one for under $50, I would use the Delivery Confirmation with it. Good luck with your package.

Just an FYI. Many times Priority Mail is almost the same price as Parcel Post and if you print your Priority Mail label from the USPS website you can get delivery confirmation as part of the label for no additional charge.
