post office near disneyland

Since I tend to go overboard on souvenirs and this will be our first trip to Disneyland and it will be at Christmas are there any post office near Disneyland? I thought about getting a large box and put some of the souveniers in there and ship it back home before we head back. Thanks everyone.

There are 2 close that I know of. One is in the 700 block of Ball, another in the 1100 block.

They can ship directly from the parks as well. I did that with a few large things I purchased (Halloween mini tree and my silhouettes and frames). The fee was reasonable.

When we go, everyone packs in carry-on luggage only. I don't like to check bags, takes up time on arrival having to go to baggage claim.

I always take an extra barrel bag to put laundry in for the return trip home. It packs flat and takes up no room. Coming home it frees up the carry-on luggage for souvenirs if we need it.

I thought about shipping things home too. But the cost and challenge of getting to the post office changed my mind.

Plus it was cheaper (if the airline charges) to pay for a checked bag on the flight home. The souvenirs go in the carry-on and the barrel bag of laundry gets checked.

It's nice to have options.

Is there a mail drop at DLR? I have a bill I have to pay that doesn't accept online payments and I don't want to mail it SO early that they cash it soon.

Yes, there are several mailboxes at Disneyland. One on Main STreet, one in Frontierland that I know of off hand.

There is also a mailbox on Buena Vista st in DCA.

There's also a mail box just as you enter the tunnel on the left side and one on the left side of the hub.
