Post here Proud Parents!!

We have 2 kids. Actually DS turns 4 today!!!:sunny: DD is 8. That is plenty for us!!! They are both sweethearts. We are very lucky w/ them b/c they are healthy and DD does well in school and DS behaves in daycare (they haven't started to much "school work" yet). He knows his alphabet and can count pretty high. We were really excited about having DS after DD b/c we did want a boy and girl. We think it's a great family for us!!:)

I have a dd who is 14 from a previous marriage and sometimes I'd like more but now I think I'm just at a point that it's so easy having just her. Plus God has been playing with my body so much the past couple of years so I'm not sure I could handle the stress of wondering if I were pregnant.

She is my life and I know I would have enough love for another one but I just can't imagine that right now. And I am proud to say that at 14, she still loves to do things and hang out with her mom!!!! I know many parents who can't say that and I know what they are missing.....

Great thread idea. We have 2 girls, 11 and almost 10. They're 18 months apart which was planned (really didn't love being pregnant and wanted that part of my life behind me - hence, just the two!). I really didn't care what I had for the first one (secretly hoping for a girl) but REALLY wanted the 2nd to be a girl since I knew that was it and wanted DD to have a sister. Worked out great since a family of 4 can stay anywhere in WDW!

They are turning into really awesome young ladies. They're spunky and funny but they're also really kind. They do well in school, love sports and still like spending time with their old parents. How lucky can we be? That's them below during our last DCL cruise.

Ooh, a chance to show off my boys? I'll take it! LOL

I have 2 DS's. Adam will be 3 in two days (*sniff*!) and Ryan just turned 9 months.

Here they are on our vacation last week.

We have just one. And that is all we have ever wanted.:sunny:

She is 8 an Honor student and competition cheerleader!! And I feel so lucky because she is a fabulous person!!:sunny:

LIZNBOYS,

Thank you!! I feel a little bad b/c DD has a softball game tonight and we are doing DS's birthday stuff tomorrow. However, he is having cupcakes at daycare today and we woke him up by singing "Happy Birthday" to him this morning. (He had one strange look on his face!) He will get some cards and gifts from church friends this afternoon. Hopefully he will be excited since he will be celebrating twice. I will also have DD's softball team sing Happy Birthday to him.:sunny:

I have two girls. Remy will turn 6 on July 4, and Holland is now 6 mos. I would like another, but DH said if I can't guarantee a boy, then NO WAY. He thinks he's outnumbered by girls (we vote and girls always win). ;)

We have 2...DS is 9 and DD is 5. Had no trouble getting pregnant with DS, but with DD we went through unexplained secondary infertility. Thought we would never have another. When I finally did get pregnant we were told very early on that we were having another boy. I was ok with that since DS was almost 4 and I loved having a son. Since I had to go through a level 2 ultrasound (afp test came back with a chance of downs) they were able to tell us that we were having a healthy baby GIRL! While I would have been absolutely thrilled with another boy, I was soooooo very happy to have a daughter. Both my kids are such a joy....not always easy, but always a joy! :)

Apparently, God wanted them to come a bit closer together. We are officially 'done,' but that was much easier for me to say when I was uncomfortably pregnant. Now that I have my beautiful baby girl, it breaks my heart to think there won't ever be another one. But, I do know I've been very blessed to have four healthy pregnancies and four precious children

Congrats on your new baby!!! I love newborns, I already feel like my newest little guy, at almost 3 months, is growing up too fast!! :(

Awww, that's too cute about him waking up to happy birthday with a stange look on his face! LOL!

We have one DS who is 11 months old today! It's hard to believe that in a month he'll be a year old!! He just started crawling a couple of weeks ago so that has changed everything! LOL!

I want to have 2 more kids, but I think if our next one is a girl DH would try hard to stop at 2. Won't be trying for another year or so though...may change my mind when DS turns 2!

two and a half :teeth:

Lukas is 7 - currently in first grade and loving it. He's our computer boy, he loves reading and talking. Lots and lots of talking, it's shutting him up that's the trick.

Belle is 2 - boy is she 2! We just painted her bedroom princess pink this weekend, she's in heaven. She's been running around telling us, over and ove "me so happy have Cinderella night night"

And the half is due anytime now and the sooner she decides to come the better! :teeth: :hyper:

We have one, a son who is 11 and just graduated from elementary school. :( I would have preferred more but it wasn't meant to be. Luckily, he's a cool kid! :)
