Post DL Depression...

I totally understand. I solved the problem by just going everyday - I got a job at Disneyland, and now I work there (usually 6 days/week) - and guess where I go on my day off?

I'm retired, so it works just fine for me. If you're not there yet, it is something to look forward to. Me and and fellow retiree coworkers sometimes refer to it as "livin the dream".

awww yay for livin the dream!! :thumbsup2
If you don't mind me asking, what do you do at DLR?

If it makes you feel any better my son, who was about 6 months old at the time, had a massive melt down when he woke up at home and not at Disneyland. :lovestruc Poor thing would not leave me alone the rest of the day, he was very clingy. Hopefully I will be able to take him again in the next year or so.

I am currently in a deep disney depression. It's all I think about. We usually go for Halloweentime but we didn't this year. Tried something different went to San Francisco. It was nice to see something new but it wasn't Disney and I felt like I missed out completly on what I consider a Halloween tradition. Already told DH that we will be in DL next October no matter what it takes. :lmao:

I listen to my Disneylands 50th cd collection on my way to work. I find myself zoning out and thinking of us heading to Pirates to ride or Big Thunder or seeing Fantasmic or dozens of other DL things.

We've got 2 Disney cruises planned and our trip to DL next year but none of those are close enough for me! I want to go now!

You are not alone, missing DL here big time in AZ. We thought we would be there for Christmas, but hubby's work (construction) isn't cooperating. (I do not understand why guys can't put on their big boy underwear and just do their jobs). One of my daughters has told me she wished we never took them to Disneyland because now she knows why I always whine about going back! She says she misses it too! LOL
Hopefully for their birthday! That is what they are begging for; to wake up at Disneyland and have breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen!
I have the POTC ring tones for one of my sisters and when she calls, she gets irritated because I wait until the song is almost over to answer! LOL :thumbsup2
Thank God for this site! I can get up to date pictures, and info about the happiest place on earth, so I can be 'prepared' in case we win the lottery or something! (Hey, I dream big).
:santa:

At our last visit my DH was chatting it up with a man who was retired and works at DL. Afterwards my DH decided that, that was what he was going to do when he retires!
