Post Disney Depression!

I'm sure I'm not alone on this one. I have to say, the one thing I dread each trip is when I get back home. It's so depressing, and I'm not a depressed person at all.

I don't want to unpack. I don't go through my photos. I put all of my Disney merchandise aside. I basically try to avoid all things Disney for a week or so.

I think this next trip is going to be the worst. Everyday I'm checking on things for my trip, reservations, events to see/do, etc. This year I'm very well planned out and feel so much more connected to this trip coming up, I just know it's going to suck afterwards.

:sad2:

PS - I am EXTREMELY thankful I'm able to get to Disney once a year.

I remember that depression so well. We'd return to the north east (often in the middle of winter) after a Disney vacation and it would be terrible. We'd mope around for weeks.

Nothing was as good as it was at Disney. No restaurant, no service, no bar, no entertainment, nothing at all...

Now that we live in the area and can visit often, it's eased off of course. Thank heaven! LOL.

I think I heard -
anonymous, wild, freaky sex with strangers is supposed to help.
::yes::

Sigh...

I never leave Disney, that must be the problem! :sad2:

:rotfl2:

Think of it as "Disney Detox."

Sometimes we have to take a small break from the things we love so we can love them even more!

Hope this helps.

PDD is awful! :scared1: There is only one way to cure it for me. Thats plan another trip! Just knowing Im going to get another fix helps! Keeping busy and and boring friends with stories about our trip helps. I love looking at the pics and videos when I get home. It takes the PDD edge off.

Buzz Lightyear 3D is coming out in less than 2 weeks!! It will only be in the theather for 2 weeks here.

I wanted to go to Cedar Point Halloween but my family isnt interested. Can you believe that??? They must have some other disorder Im not aware of!

I know exactly how you feel. It happens every time I go. We just got back yesterday.

Hmm...denial works best. Or just put it off until forever. I'm traveling for the 3rd of 3 weekends in a row...SF, Anaheim, WDW...I'm taking a bi weekend next week (hahaha so punny). Then it's back to SF, then WDW, and a couple of weeks off before Vegas...

I make it to WDW almost once/month...mainly so I can do a bit of making magic...but mostly because life is more exciting when you travel!

I 2nd that. That is how I deal with it sometimes too. AND your baby on the right looks like one I had when I was going up that was like my sis!

I never leave Disney

Wow.

Way to rub salt into the wound, guys!

I'm sure that'll make JoeyAnyc feel much better!

Though, it is a thought Joey. If you're PDD is that bad, you could do what we've done and just move here. :thumbsup2

Assuming, of course, that Wally's . . . er. . . unique . . . remedy isn't to your liking. :rotfl:

If it isn't ... you didn't do it right! ;)
Rise. Lather. Repeat. :rotfl:

Ooooo love your new siggy thingy - the lady in the hat :thumbsup2

Tank yew. It's the madmenyourself jpg. dealie -- how you'd look in the early sixties. You start out with a body style (since I'm roundish, mine comes with QUITE the substantial foundation garment -- my daughter's has a bullet bra and granny panties) and take it from there. MANY period accessories too... Totally a hoot.
