We are going in late Feb/early march Have been to disney about 6 times in the past but mostly stayed onsite and used disney transport. Now we are staying nearby offsite - like barely off site, and will have a car ... but I am told its a long alk from the parking lots. Also I forget ... how much is parking at the theme parks? So I just realized the monorail is down .... is we wanted to eat at monorail resorts on our MK days - what is the best way to get to resorts ... like poly? Driving? Buses? I have heard buses are taking forever.
What about Uber? Can they drop you at the theme parks closer to the gates than parking? if we drive our car can the driver drop everyone off someplace closer than go park?
What is the best way to do this?

Side note - man. Planning a post covid disney trip is a whole new ball game.

Can't answer for the parking fees since I stay onsite and never drive once I arrive. I do know they aren't doing shuttles so you will have to walk, and depending on how crowded it is and when you get there can be a hike. The monorail is not completely down, just the Epcot line. You can still ride the resort monorail to GF & CR, but the Poly stop is closed so you either have to walk from TTC, take a boat if they're running, or a bus (which they've started running for Poly from MK). You could also take the monorail to GF and walk to Poly if you want, it's not a bad walk. Buses are taking no more time than they ever did, I've been 3 times since re-opening and have had zero issues, but they don't run buses to CR or GF so that's out for you (but you can walk to both from MK so it doesn't matter). Uber can get you closer in all parks but MK, you still have to take the ferry or monorail from TTC.

Also, it's not "Post covid", it's still very much just "covid"

Maybe it depends on the hotel & number of guests at the parks? Last there early October. Closer it got to Columbus Day, the more crowded it got in some of the parks. I just wasn’t comfortable using one at the time. We normally rent a car but use disney transportation when adult beverages are involved

The lines for the buses at the resorts looked quite long to me. :confused3 Especially, the am peak times. Thankfully, we had car & were able to use the sky liner.

I just said it’s no worse than it was pre-Covid, in my experience it isn’t taking any longer than it did before. Always a problem in the morning and at park close, but, a lot of the time on all my trips since opening another bus came quickly after (in the mornings anyway). We only had to take a bus once at night due to what park we were at and where we were staying, but it still felt very pre-Covid minus being packed in like sardines.

Yes, I read what you initially said. Posted to share my experience
