Post card from Mickey Mouse?

I think I read something on here about getting post cards sent from mickey or other characters? Is this true & if so, how do you go about doing it?

I think you might be thinking of the Fairy Godmailer thread. You go to the board and people offer, or you can request, to send postcards from Disney. The people who sign up to be a Godmailer volunteer to send the postcards when they are on vacation.

Speaking as someone who has given and received(for my DD) postcards from Mickey(and others)-it's a wonderful experience!

Oh, so do you buy the post card and send it yourself? That sounds familiar since you mentioned that thread but I only read parts of it.
I am going this weekend and my godsons birthday is in november and he loves mickey and disney so I'd thought it would be neat for him.
